I always take my 2002 Hyundai Sonata GLS here for service. It was very convenient when they were located in Santa Ana, just down from where I live. I haven't been to the new location yet. They have always been very nice to deal with and always let me know what needs to be done to my car. They have never tried to do more than has been needed. My Sonata has never had to have anything major done to it, only regular maintenance and small things from wear and tear. It is a great car and maybe some day way down the line when it is completely worn out and I finally have a job again, I will get another Sonata and it will be from OC Tustin Hyundai. I originally bought this car in 2001 from Anaheim Hyundai, now Hardin Hyundai. I use to have the car maintained there when I lived in Anaheim. I thought they were nice there, but like dealing with OC Tustin Hyundai more. More

I purchased my 2011 Sonata SE with Navigation on June 27th and just found this site to post a review. I had done my internet reviews and pricing prior to going to OC Hyundai. I also had obtained a price on my 2010 Genesis Coupe from CarMax. I took a copy of my best internet price and the car quote and headed off to OC to see what I could work out. Was greeted by Mark and he was very friendly without being at all pushy. They had the exact car I wanted on the lot so we took it for a test drive which included some freeway driving. I was impressed with the performance of the new 4 cyl engine. There was no haggling or pressure to close the deal. I showed him my best price and asked if they could meet or beat it. He said he would give it his best shot, brought me a bottled water, and returned in about 10 min. and said they could beat the price by a few $$. I then announced my trade in. They looked at my GC and came back with "No Kelly blue book value yet as it was only 6 months old. The computer came up with .69. I showed them my CarMax quote and a few min. later they came back with an offer better than. After all this, I made them an offer, reminding them that I didn't really need a new car, and a few minutes later we were signing paperwork. I got the exact car I wanted, got a great price and trade in and the entire staff at OC Hyundai is to be commended. Have had very little to do with the service people thus far but they seem to be of the same caliber of people. Highly recommend this dealership. More

I saw the 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited on Hyundai's website and fell in love with it right away. I was ready to purchase a new car and thought it would be a piece of cake given my good credit and the website and fell in love with it right away. Little did I know it would turn out to be a nearly two month ordeal before I finally got the car. I went to three other dealerships before OC Hyundai and none of them have the Sonata with the trim I want. They all gave me the feeling of they cared more about making a deal than what I want (like pushing me to buy the 2010 Sonata or the SE model instead). They all pretty much gave me the run around on whether they can locate the Sonata Limited. I finally went to OC Hyundai after someone's recommendation and what a difference! From the moment I walked in everyone was friendly and helpful. The dealership's GM, Troy, was onsite and you can tell he's a very hands on with his staff and customers. He introduced me to Reuben and told me Reuben would take good care of me. Reuben was awsome throughout the entire process. He didn't just talked to me about price, we chatted about everything from cars to family. Reuben didn't just handle the sales part as I found out later he was actually the one who drove all the way to Van Nuys to find the car I want and brought it all the way down to OC. Francisco in Financing was just as friendly and was very patient in answering whatever question I had. The entire process took about 1.5 hours and completely painless! I love this dealership and will come back to them again when I buy my next car. Wish I had known about OC Hyundai before I ran all over the place! More

My name is Kathy and I live in Palm Desert,Ca.I had been interested in buying a Hyundai Tuscon for the past 6 months as my lease was coming to an end in July.I found a GLS in the La Quinta dealership.When t interested in buying a Hyundai Tuscon for the past 6 months as my lease was coming to an end in July.I found a GLS in the La Quinta dealership.When they took it to the bank they came back with 18% on a 6 year loan with a significant down payment.(My credit is not good because of foreclosed investment properties)I had a similar experience with Honda of the Desert for a CRV.At this point I decided to look for used car,to borrow a car or maybe take over a short term lease.I was in Orange County with my son for a tennis tournament and decided to stop by OC Hyundai.I had previously spoken to Jorge Gonzales on the phone about this car.We looked at a GLS with navigation.It was about $2,000 more than the one I looked at in La Quinta.Jorge wanted to run some numbers.I was very reluctant to go through this again.Phil Doherty,sales manager,was brought in to talk to me.I told him about my previous experiences and that I didn't want to go through this process just to get another bad deal.He said he really thought he could do better.I gave him the go ahead but feeling very pessimistic.He came back with 10% interest rate(La Quinta was 18%) for 5 years(la Quinta was 6 years) with the same amount down that I was going put down at the La Quinta dealership.My payments were only slightly higher than the La Quinta deal and I got a nicer car with navigation.I was thrilled.The only thing I was hesitant about was the red car.They held a small deposit for me so I could think about it and they could look for other colors.The plan was to return the next morning.In the mean time,they noticed that my other car had a tire that was low in air.They tried to use their compressor which did not work.Jorge took me to 7-11 to get one of those cans that can fill a tire,It didn't work.I had to call AAA and Jorge was nice enough to wait with me until they came.It was after 10PM.AAA showed and could not replace the tire with spare because we could not find the key needed to take off the bolt.He also said my other tire was about to go.I left my car at Hyuandai and we got a ride back to the hotel.The next day Jorge drove to the hotel in traffic to bring us back to the dealership.The only other color Tuscon they could find with the navigation and the beautiful taupe interior was kiwi green.We thought we would like it but couldn't decide until we saw it in person.Phil told me they could get one in by 5:00PM and I could decide between red and kiwi.They gave me another car to use for the day to take my son to his tournament.What I didn't know was that Jorge drove all the way to San Diego to bring this car to their dealership.When I got back after 5 and saw the car it was love at first sight.We made the deal.On top of all that,they told me there was no charge to replace both of my tires from the old car.I turned in that car at the VW dealership across the street.OC Hyundai bent over backwards for me and I have to say this was the best experience I have ever had buying a new car, thanks to Jorge and Phil. We went to various dealers looking for the model and color we wanted but SPECIFICALLY worked with this dealership based on the great experience we had previous at the Tustin (OC Mazda) dealership, owned by John Patterson. We were very happy to say that we were taken care of just as great with the sales team here at OC Hyundai. Our experience started with George in the internet sales department and Jeff Walker's (Sales Manager) help. We got the car we wanted and the price that was within our budget! This team worked very hard at getting us the car we wanted in spite of the fact that the demand for this vehicle made this task challenging at best. I've been bringing my Elantra to this same location for regular maintenance servicing ever since I bought there four years ago and have never had any trouble with it. Until two days ago when I suddenly heard a strange "rattling" noise, especially when I accellerated or made a turn. I took the car straight in to the service dept right after work, wondering what it could be and if was covered under my warranty. I was greeted right away and assured that whatever it was, they would find it. After waiting a few minutes, Mark came for me and said "you've got to see this." I thought "oh no, a critter has crawled up somewhere and wrecked something." But no, it was a large twig that was stuck in some weird way in my steering that when the wheels turned it would flap against it. I asked if I could pull it out, and after I "fixed" my car and we all had a laugh over it, I asked them how much they would charge and Mark laughed again and said, "Nothing!"
