This is a long review but a lot of terrible things happened, and it needs to be explained for you to understand the level of poor customer service. On 2/29/20 my husband called to inquire if one o happened, and it needs to be explained for you to understand the level of poor customer service. On 2/29/20 my husband called to inquire if one of their CPO Kona's was still available. He spoke to Rick. We were told it was available. My husband said we'd come in and ask for him specifically. Rick greeted us and I felt comfortable with him immediately. His energy was friendly and warm. We looked at the car together, everything was fine, but then Rick went to grab us waters and he came back outside with another salesman... Rooben. Rick said that apparently we talked to Rooben about the car on another day. My husband and I did not remember talking to him. We were really confused. Rooben was inserting himself, like, yeah, we talked, remember? *crickets* So Rick started to explain that he would remove himself, how he had another person coming, and that Rooben would help. We were so disappointed. We liked Rick and felt comfortable with him, but now this other guy is basically like "These people are my property." The transferring of salesman seemed highly unprofessional. However, I liked the Kona so I asked for a test drive. During the drive, Rooben mentioned again how we contacted him, and don't you remember, etc. We felt uncomfortable. We literally did not remember this guy! Afterward, we got to his desk in an attempt to work a deal (We thought). Rooben points to his computer and tells my husband "See? Right here. I wrote this note that says you were looking for a car for your wife. I called you." Rooben was so pushy about this. We had to tell him at least 3 times that we don't remember talking to him. We only stayed with him because we thought we had to, and because we wanted to purchase the Kona. Rooben was very abrupt in his approach. No customer service. He continued talking to my husband, not me. I told him that I was the one buying a car and that he could talk to me. He literally put his hands out and bowed down to me. I didn't love that and it felt very condescending. Rooben wasn't clear when it came to numbers and he didn't explain or walk me through anything. He literally showed me a piece of paper that had the same price we saw online and said "Okay? Good?" It was so weird. I said, no, and gave him a price (OTD) and he literally laughed. He asked what our offer was so I restated the price again and he got up to speak to the manager. He came back 10 seconds later and said his manager "Flat out rejected it." This is how he spoke to us. He was just harsh. We waited for the counter. *silence* Rooben didn't say anything. Not, "Hey, we can't do that price because of this, but we can do this." Just simply silence. It was so awkward! So my husband said "soooooo, is there a counter?" Rooben said no, points at the paper and said that's the price. We grabbed our stuff and walked away. Absolutely terrible experience! More

After a long, stressful weekend of car shopping at other dealerships, I cautiously walked into Tustin looking for an Elantra. This was by far the easiest, least painful car buying experience ever!
