Had a problem with my car not starting when cold, it happened 3 or 4 times but eventually it would make contact and start. It's not the battery because the lights radio work it just won't turn over. On Jan. 25th, it wouldn't start at all and had to be towed to the dealership. Their investigation said there was a bad relay in the starter, and it was replaced. It started fine for a week and had another cold morning on Feb 1st and it didn't want to start again, but like when it first started haveing the problem, after a few tries it connected and started. I call the dealership and was going to bring it back on Monday morning the 4th, but after my husband calling in and talking to someone they didn't know what they would do if we brought it in because it was starting but I'm pretty sure the next cold morning we have I'm going to have the same problem. This is very dissappointing to have a 2 year old car and having a problem that can't be fixed because they can't figure out what is wrong. I really don't want to have my car towed again. Reading on line this seems to be a common problem others have had with the Sorentos, so seems to me there should be a fix, if not, Kia needs to figure out what's causing it. My car is still under warranty and it would be nice to have this fixed before it happens again or my warranty expires.
