He didn’t pressure me into a quick decision, offered me pros and cons to each, and then reassured me that the one I chose (the least expensive of the bunch) was a great purchase - as opposed to trying to get me to spend more than I was comfortable. Hayes contacted me about a week after I had a website question (which had previously been answered quickly) and just wanted to know if I had any more questions and/or was still interested in the car. It was the only one that wasn't hounded me like all the other VW dealerships in the area. I told him I was about to purchase the same vehicle from another dealer and mentioned that the dealer had beat another's price by a whopping $50. We laughed, then he asked if I would consider purchasing from them if he could beat it even though it was a bit further away. Needless to say, it was worth the short drive. I think I saved about $500-600, got window tinting and clear bra thrown in, and got what I asked on my trade-in. When I picked up the car, it only took about 30-45min. Very low-pressure, quick, easy, & painless. I think it would have only taken 15 minutes except for my questions. Hayes is very straightforward and enjoyable to deal with. I certainly wouldn't purchase a VW from anyone else. More
