I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! WALKED IN SATURDAY MORNING AFTER MAKING AN APPT. I ASKED FOR THE SALESMAN AS I WAS WALKING TOWARDS THE CARS I WANTED. THE SALES PERSON TOLD ME TO "STOP". My experience was as good as I have had with the purchase of a new car. Your salesman Brandon Kopp was excellent. I came in to look at one of your pre-owed vehicles and he help me with that process but als of a new car. Your salesman Brandon Kopp was excellent. I came in to look at one of your pre-owed vehicles and he help me with that process but also opened my eyes to the fantastic loan programs that VW offers for the pruchase of a new vehicle and as you know I ended up purchasing a new Tiguan and cannot be happier. This is a gift for my wife who will be returning from a trip tomorrow and I can guarantee you that she will be happier than words can express. I put Brandon to work on this purchase and he took care of all my requests and got me the information that I needed to make the best possible decision for me and my wife. I will no doubt be returning to Tynan's the next time I am looking to purchase a VW or any of the other makes that your group sells. More
As a "special financing" customer, I didn't expect much. Wow was I wrong! EVERYONE at this dealership was friendly, fun, and happy to be there and talk to me. Considering that I expected this to be a waste of time, and NEVER expected to drive out of there with a 2013 Jetta, it's the understatement of the year to say that I am just "satisfied"! It was great, I was approached as soon as I walked in. I did not feel hassled or pressured into a sale. The sales team was willing to adjust their price to work with my budget. The entire staff was very knowledgeable on the car itself. The sales leader broke down the entire process, and explained it in a way that I could understand what I was paying for. There were no hidden fees or any b.s., just great customer service! After the transaction, the sales associate went through the whole car with me and answered my questions. Then the owner of the dealership came out to meet me and thank me for my business. They have also called me twice since then to check up and make sure that I was still happy with my purchase. They were very professional, and I would highly recommend them! More
Supreme customer service from John Tynan and staff after my 2012 Jetta was deemed a total loss because of a car accident. I love the color of my new car and was able to get tinted windows this time around. And I can 100 percent say, Jetta's are very safe cars, especially when broad sided. My daughter's car broke down for a second time lase week and spent 2 days in the Shoreline Service department AFTER being serviced there for the first break down ( which they said was due to her spark week and spent 2 days in the Shoreline Service department AFTER being serviced there for the first break down ( which they said was due to her spark plugs needing replace and soaking me $315.00 for them). After 2 days of hearing "We can't duplicate the problem and therefor we can't fix it" I had her pull the car from them after they assured me that it was drivable and safe...well it wasn't..and as she was driving to work it broke down again at an intersection, a very dangerous situation for her :( . I live in Oregon and my daughter is a single mom with 2 jobs and no time, so I searched for a Volkswagen service shop and found Tynan's, on a Saturday no less, I called, I was quite upset after my ordeal with Shoreline (where she bought the car) the gentleman, Briant, that answered the phone was very nice he listened to my entire story and he seemed to really care about the problems and issues that we were having with this car and for my concern about my daughter. He offered all kinds of help for her, but most importantly he was honest with me. He told me that she could drop the car off that day but seeing as it was a Saturday they probably would not get a chance to look at it until Monday ( I found out later that they actually stayed late that day to take a look at it). On Monday morning Mike called and gave me some kind of an idea of the problem but said they would not just GUESS and that they had to drive it more, so they drove the car until it heated up and duplicated the problem (Shoreline parked the car in the sun and thought that was sufficient to get it to duplicate the problem) they ran some more test's and then Mike called me Monday afternoon to tell me it was the fuel pump that had failed and it needed to be replaced - oh and while they were under the hood they also discovered that she also had 2 radiator fans that were not working properly and needed to be replaced before they failed and left her on the side of the road again( she had told the KIA mechanic's at Shoreline that she thought the fans we not working properly and they told her they were fine!!) so when Mike talked to her warrant company he got approval to fix those as well, they also did a safely check on the car and replaced her battery, at a very reasonable cost, so now her car is fixed and safe with a very reasonable out of pocket cost to us far less that I what paid to Shoreline for the 5 spark plugs. And here it is Tuesday the car is done and my daughter no longer has to ride her bike to work!! I am very happy with the guys in the service department and in the future this is were the car will go should it need anything. Moral of the story don't take a VW to a Kia shop!! Thank you Mike and Briant for all of your help and understand from a very worried mama!!! More
Do not see Torri...biggest mistake you'll ever make. Does not follow through with his words. Thanks to DJ and Greg for making it enjoyable and worthwhile. I was ready to walk out after being there for an hour and a half and nothing accomplished. I was frustrated because I expressed to Torri the day prior my concerns, what I was looking for and my needs and I got there with noone knowing what was goung on. I was then transferred to DJ and Greg and if not for these two and their time and patience I woukd have left. It took one person to ruin a experience for everyone. Needless to say DJ took time and got me in the car I clearly stated I was interested in and had financing with my paperwork within a 30 min time. I told him if he could get things done in 30 min I woukd stay and he followed through with his promise. Financing blew it away too. I walked in expecting to be there another 1/2 hour to hour but love that he had me in and out in 10 mins flat. By far I would have given it more stars had I not started with a crappy salesman. Highly recommend DJ. As long as he's there I'll recommend. Avoid Torri at all costs. Worst sales rep I have ever met. Love my Beetle and can't thank DJ and Greg enough... More
