My experience with Unique Auto Mall has been extremely disappointing, especially considering the amount of money involved in my pur PURCHASING HERE. My experience with Unique Auto Mall has been extremely disappointing, especially considering the amount of money involved in my purchase. I purchased a BMW XM for approximately $98,888 and put $90,000 DOWN. During the transaction, I was charged $6,799 for FortiTrak, which I was told was required as part of my deal. I later contacted FortiTrak directly regarding cancellation and was told that I needed to handle the cancellation through the dealership. I was also told that a $2,495 ceramic coating was part of my deal, yet the coating was NOT on my vehicle when I took delivery. I had to obtain a signed document from the dealership confirming that the vehicle could be brought back to have it done. My agreed out-the-door price was $116,300, yet my final paperwork reflected $116,468.65. I have repeatedly requested explanations and documentation regarding the charges and cancellation of FortiTrak. What makes this especially frustrating is that I put $90,000 of my own money down on this vehicle. A customer spending this amount of money should not have to chase a dealership afterward for answers, documentation, products that were promised, or clarification of charges. I have since filed a complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and am attempting to resolve these matters directly with the dealership. I'm sharing my experience so other buyers know to READ EVERY PAGE, QUESTION EVERY ADD-ON, GET EVERY PROMISE IN WRITING, AND VERIFY EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR BEFORE SIGNING.
