These guys were friendly and informative. There were not gotchas on the price, although I think I could have gotten a better deal if I haggled more. First, other dealers in the area did not have the Hyundai Genesis in stock that we wanted but Universal did. In fact they had a great inventory. This is the first reason I would recommend Universal. Besides that, we had a great experience from our salesman Abimael Dorta through financing with Jose Rivera. They were patient, answering our questions issue by issue. We were somewhat unprepared with some documentation and they did not make us feel rushed or inept. They helped us with suggestions and the entire procedure was accomplished and was painless. Their tradition of ringing the gong to congratulate you as an owner of a Hyundai was fun if not special. Earlier Mr. Abimael went over all of the features of the car and again after the sale was final and invited me to return two days later to go over everything again in case I had any further questions. I believe I will be happy with my new car and feel that I could go back to Universal for any reason that I might have! Thank You. More

Sales. John forgot to return our Drivers License after using for credit approval. Subsequently, no one at Universal took the initiative to notify us that they had our IDs until we called ourselves the fo using for credit approval. They were apologetic and truly sincere but little details like this give an edge in business. Finance. Giermo was a nice guy who provided a straight-forward explanation of the options that were available to us for warranty. We bought the extended warranty for a full 10 years, 100,000 miles on the car. The deal, all told was an extremely great value for the money-best deal we've ever gotten. Receiving the car. When we received the car, it was in great condition--very clean, inside and out. Bob explained everything clearly and provided a detailed account of the car's operation including the radio, AC, lights, etc. Very thorough. The only thing that could have gone better with receiving the car was to receive it with a full tank of gas. You would think that when buying a car, used or new, from the dealer, one would receive it with a full tank of gas. Again, it would give Universal Hyundai the edge if they did this. It's the WOW factor that sets GREAT businesses apart. More

The sales associate, Bob Mitchem, was very knowledgable about the car and took his time with us to explain all the features of the car we were interested in. At delivery he went over all of the manuals from the car and further explained all of the features and options on the car. Typically most people do not buy a car that often so they seemed to go over and above to make the delivery process something special. More
