John Dias gave great respect to me in my recent purchase of my Murano. I had not purchased a new car in 15 years and there were many new functions to understand. I stated 3x I did not want any service plan. I was told it was not costing any more money to my monthly payment. I later noticed that plan cost $600 and notified and is separate from my monthly payment. I was told I need to return to dealership to cancel. I did and was given paperwork to fill out and send back to them WHEN I receive paperwork in mail on this plan. I live 30 miles from dealership. A wasted trip. I was also informed that I would receive a Nissan credit card and the payment of $600 would be taken. I have been told I will eventually get back my money. Since I called them within 24 hours and it appears I can cancel this plan, why would any company that customers spend tens of thousands dollars and look for not only their repeat business but ongoing maintenance punish those same customers for months ,when the stroke of a pen or a simple phone call could end a problem Its called good customer service. After shopping around several dealerships we decided to visit Universal Nissan. Their online chat was very helpful getting extra information regarding the vehicle we were considering and answering my quest visit Universal Nissan. He took the time to go over the car and show us just about every function. Comparing it to some of the higher end dealerships we visited (Audi, BMW,etc....), this by far was the best experience. I've been looking for a used MINI Cooper for a couple months. I've been pretty picky, so it's been a slow process. I found one that met my criteria at Universal Nissan. I sent the dealer an inquiry on months. I've been pretty picky, so it's been a slow process. I found one that met my criteria at Universal Nissan. I sent the dealer an inquiry on Friday morning, 11/22. Within minutes I had a response from Eduardo and he took a few more pictures of the car to confirm some features I was looking for. I set up an appointment to come in first thing the next morning, around 9:30am on 11/23. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately. Eduardo came out a few minutes later and I knew instantly that this was going to be a good experience as he was ready to hit the ground running immediately. I absolutely loved that he was ready to go - he wasn't about to waste my time and it was something that I really appreciated. Prior to taking the car out, Eduardo got all the information for my trade so it could be evaluated during the test drive. Again - he valued my time. The car was almost exactly what I wanted, so we began to negotiate price. Eduardo went to "speak to his manager" and instead of the constant back and forth his manager, Norm, came out to speak to us too. We came to an agreement (while I don't think I got a "great" deal, I did get a fair deal and I'm very happy with the purchase price.) I then spoke with Mazine in Finance and got set up with financing. He offered the extended warranties, and spoke to their advantages without pushing too hard when we weren't interested. Everyone we dealt with was super friendly and clearly valued our business. It was in direct contrast to what I experienced at the Orlando MINI dealer. I would recommend this dealership, especially Eduardo in a heartbeat. More
