This Dealership has gone downhill in a Bad way ! Their Parts Dept. overprices parts (Compared to other area Nissan Dealership's) by 10% or more ! When you call for parts , they act as if they are doing you the CUSTOMER a favor by looking a part/price up !?!? The Service Advisor I spoke with to have work done to my vehicle also had a serious attitude problem , know it all that doesn't listen to a word you say to them about the problem experienced , again I thought I was the customer paying for a service not a charity case asking for a donation ! I had a friend who recently purchased a Sonata , a friend of a friend who knew a salesperson that could get him a great deal on a used Sonata . Long story short , they jerked his chain over and over till he walked away and was contacted by the GM of the Dealership three days later , asked if he was still interested in the car, the friend told him "are you serious ! " , he then told the GM what had taken place about switch and baiting the price the GM replied "I had no Idea"and apologized. The GM made right on the deal , but he obviously doesn't realize the shysters he has employed at his dealership ! I bought a car from them back in 2003 and from then till now is like night and day.*** Warning*** , take your business somewhere else , Universal Nissan doesn't respect you as a customer nor does this Dealership doesn't deserve your hard earned dollars ! More
Best customer service i've experienced!!! Patient , attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. No pressure. Went for a test drive and was shown how things worked. I can't complain about the price because they beat the lowest price I had from another dealer. I'm looking forward to a good experience with the service department when the time comes. I have been a Nissan buyer for over 20 years. I had a very bad experiance at Hill Nissan in Winterhaven Fl. At that time I swore I would never deal with Nissan again. When My lease was up I Purchased the vehicle from Robin Johnson at Universal Nissan. What a breath of fresh air. No more BS. He did a terrific job and it was a pleasure purchasing the Pathfinder. It restored my faith in Nissan. The finance person was great and very honest. I expect it from Nissan and it was a pleasant change from my treatment at Hill Nissan. I bought a car at this place because my loan provider was offereing a lower interest rate, and boy did I get screwed. I bought a car that had previous damage on it but was not reported. They were dismis offereing a lower interest rate, and boy did I get screwed. I bought a car that had previous damage on it but was not reported. They were dismissive and agressive and combative when I contacted them less than a week after when I discovered the damage which was confirmed by a friend who works at a body shop. After several follow ups they agreed to see it and then of course the song and dance happened here. They promised to fix all of the work and even go above and beyond, gave me their word, showed me the paperwork and then sent me on my way. From there the nightmare continued in scheduling issues, and just plain lying. They are a company with no integrity and honor and I'm ashamed for myself for buying from them, and also for being recommended to them. I'm formally lodging a complaint with the BBB and my credit union. I will warn everyone I know about this place and certainly not say a kind word about them, as I feel violated and frauded. The worse part is when I went back they had several 2012 cars on the lot that had rust on the cars. I pointed it out and they ushered me inside... I would not doubt that this place is selling some cars that were under water or in sea damage. I'm beyond disappointed, the worst car experience in my 25 years of buying cars. AVOID UNIVERSAL NISSAN LIKE THE PLAGUE. More

I also printed the page that offered a better price on line than at the dealership. With fear and trepidation I met with Joe Cruz. He was the consummate professional: knowledgeable, courteous, and low-key as to sales. He wanted me to be totally satisfied and took me for a test drive. It was a great experience: finding a car, paying a reasonable price, having all paperwork completed quickly, and driving away in less than two hours. I'm sold on Universal Nissan! More

It was time to upgrade my 2001 Altima. Since I purchased my prior one here, I decided to visit them first. I'm glad I did.
