SAWYER D DILLON is one of the worst sales people at this dealership. He was friendly to start and offered free samples of cheesecake that his wife makes and sales, then when it came time to discuss the mark dealership. He got upset and told me that he was not going to remove the market adjustment. He then called Jose Otero, sales manager, who wasn't even present to inform me that he was going to contact Toyota Financial and revoke the great rate that he got me, and make sure that no other dealer would be able to get that rate either. It was a special financing rate that Toyota offered on the new vehicle depending on the model which I had already checked online. So then I demanded my deposit back as I was not going to be threatened by a sales manager over the phone which Sawyer called off of his personal phone and put on speaker. While demanding my deposit back Sawyer told me "I wasn't the person who messed up your credit." Mike Chambers who was the sales manager on duty at that time, asked me what the issue was and took the time to see about fixing the issue. Mike was able to correct the issue. Sergio in finance did take really good care of me and wanted to make sure everything was taken care of. I said it was, but I still shouldn't have been treated this way. I am completely disgusted with how the Sawyer and Jose talked to me as a customer which was completely uncalled for. I have bought over 5 different Toyota vehicles in the past few years, and this was by far the worst experience at any Toyota dealership that I have been too. I would avoid buying a car from here and look at another dealership. The service department here so far has been great and has taken care of me for all of my Toyota's needs, just don't look at buying from here. More
I recently bought a 2023 Supra MT Universal Toyota made the process easy and seamless! They had great customer service and curtesy. They were transparent with me regarding the delivery date and accom made the process easy and seamless! They had great customer service and curtesy. They were transparent with me regarding the delivery date and accommodated my schedule even though I am 4 hours away! The sales Rep Robert Perez, his Manager Michael Chambers, and their finance Manager Jose De La Garza took great care of my wife and I. They were very open and forthcoming regarding the details and pricing of my purchase. I also felt like my requested trade in amount and monthly payments were exceptionally met. We also thought there was a possible issue with the car (there wasn’t), and their service team immediately started taking steps to fix the issue. They even made accommodations to get us home and ship the car! Luckily we did not end up having to do this. I highly recommend making your next vehicle purchase with Universal Toyota! More

I have used the service department routinely for years at Universal. From my experience it has ranged from good to poor, I'm sure for a range of reasons. I'd like to inform you that your service department is by far the best service i've ever recieved. I took my 2019 Toyota Camry in for a transmission flush, change the drive belt, and asked them to honestly far the best service i've ever recieved. Im a very busy individual so i requested that if at all possible would there be any way i could get my car back asap like the next day. Justin Randow really took his service the extra mile. At 7am i dropped my car off. By 8:30am he called to inform me that my brakes are still good and your car will be ready most likely by noon. Wait what? Thats outstanding! He was 100% honest and made recomendations knowing how much i love my car. He had my car ready by lunch time. This is the type of service that will keep me coming back. Infact i'll be buying my next Toyota from this dealership due to that quality of service. I definitely had an extremely negative experience with Universal Toyota. I've been shopping around for a truck for a while now and one was posted on their website. I reached out the same day the posting was up and arranged to drive down from Austin and take it for a test drive. I left Austin at 5pm and sat in traffic for a couple of hours on 35. When I arrived I asked for the salesman and he went to grab the keys. He came back out of the office and let me know that apparently one of the manager's best friends (his words) had just put a deposit down on the truck 5 minutes before I walked in. I was obviously a bit surprised and mentioned the fact I'd driven down from Austin. He then told me that it's policy for them not to allow a deposit to be put down like that when someone is coming in from out of town to see the same vehicle. I can only conclude that in this case since they knew I was coming down, the manager (Gabe I believe) made the decision that helping out his "best friend" was more important than sticking to policy. To add insult to injury, the offer from the manager to 'make things right' was to pay for my gas. Completely missing the point of where all my frustration is coming from. It was also telling that the manager himself couldn't come out and speak to me and used the salesman as the go between to have to deliver the news he didn't have the courage to deliver himself. I'm sure people have had plenty of good experiences there and I'm happy that's the case. I think I just got on the wrong side of the wrong manager and got screwed in the process. I do think though that it's worth knowing that rules apply sometimes to some people but can be broken when it's easy or convenient to someone in a position of some authority. I'd keep that in mind when choosing whether or not to purchase a vehicle from Universal Toyota. More
