This is the WORST experience I have ever had at University Kia and Kia motors in general. I took my car in for the 3rd time on March 27th because the engine light came on again AFTER they "fixed" University Kia and Kia motors in general. I took my car in for the 3rd time on March 27th because the engine light came on again AFTER they "fixed" the problem back in February. The mechanic went on vacation and then got sick. The dealership didn't even call me to keep me updated. They wouldn't provide me with a vehicle while my car was waiting to get fixed. There reason being, Kia does not provide rentals under the warranty agreement. My husband and I called multiple times to speak with then service manager, Barry. After leaving MANY frustrating messages, he finally called my husband and promised to have something ready for us the following day. He never contacted us with information. He just quit with no notification to us. My husband showed up at the dealership the following Monday and the former service manager made arrangements for us to get a rental until our car was returned to us, which was about a week later. Meanwhile, during all of this, we made MANY phone calls to Arthur, the dealership manager. He was ALWAYS conveniently out of the office. He made NO ATTEMPT to contact us. Our car was returned to us ONE MONTH later, and the only answer Kia motors could give was there is a software issue causing the engine light to come on. The mechanic did everything Kia motors told him to do and he could not find anything mechanically wrong with the car. There was no offer by Kia to update the software to "fix the issue." So, as a public service announcement, do not purchase a Kia because they obviously do not stand by their product anymore. This dealership obviously does not care about their customers! We will trade our car in as soon as we can and completely get away from Kia!!!!! More

Service writer took advantage of my nephew who is slow. The man talked really fast and got him to sign for over $700 worth of service work he did not need. (Example: oil change when he'd had one in the The man talked really fast and got him to sign for over $700 worth of service work he did not need. (Example: oil change when he'd had one in the last 2 weeks; tire balance and rotation when he'd had that done to brand new tires in the last month; transmission flush when it wasn't due for another 3,500 miles.) When we went to the dealership to talk to them about what they did, they said too bad, he signed for the work. Legally, they are correct. But you can tell within 2 minutes of talking to our nephew that he is slow. They definitely took advantage of the young man. More
Worse customer service ever”... bring your car in for one thing they always find something else to make it more expensive”... never call back in time it’s always a hassle to get straight answers.
