I have a problem with very loud squealing brakes from day one, after purchasing my Escape from Uptown. I brought my Escape in three times for the problem. The first time I was told that there was no problem one, after purchasing my Escape from Uptown. I brought my Escape in three times for the problem. The first time I was told that there was no problem the third time they installed shims which did help for a while but the Loud squealing noise came back. I was told that brakes were not covered under warranty and there was nothing else that could be done. In desperation I finally had to contact Ford myself to ask for assistance with the replacement of the brakes. Ford did offer their assistance for part of the brake replacement. Uptown still refused to help with any of the remaining cost for brake replacement. Ford Motor company has been making automobiles for over 120 years. I do not think I am asking too much to have quiet brakes that do not wake my neighbors when I leave home in the morning. More
