I had a very pleasant experience when purchasing my Honda at Valley. We test drove 3 vehicles and Abe was very informative about each one. He let me make the decision on which I liked the best and wasn't pus at Valley. We test drove 3 vehicles and Abe was very informative about each one. He let me make the decision on which I liked the best and wasn't pushy at all. Missy, my finance person was also so nice and got me the best rate. Would buy from this place again. More
I purchased 2 super duties here in last 6 years. I ordered another one on November 1,2022. I knew it would take awhile due to vivid l covid. It's now been 18 months. Worst thing is lack of communi I ordered another one on November 1,2022. I knew it would take awhile due to vivid l covid. It's now been 18 months. Worst thing is lack of communication. No communication from valley at all. Only time I get any info is when I check in every several months. I don't know what else to do except leave bad reviews More

Later that same morning check engine light came on & took it back to dealer for same . Turns out it was a cracked block with coolant in cylinder. I did find out this is a common problem for eco boost engine by all tech specs and other literature found Repaired under warranty. for 2018 for Ford Edge with 36k mile ( purchased as new when Roush Ford ) Ford HQ has reimbursement for rentals due to the length of time vehicle could not be be used due to parts delay @4weeks. However, the Valley Ford dealership & Service director James Holley did not or would submit to Ford HQ. He did not respond to multiple request for follow up via email on reimbursement of $800- for out of pocket rental. When Mr Holley finally responded after 6 +months, his email said to call Ford HQ for reimbursement and they said it was too late with policy change 2 months prior because I did not use a Ford rental car. I used Turo non Ford for $800. A Ford at any branded Car rental was $70-$80/day x4 weeks is @ $2,100 -$2,400 and they would have paid that- not bloody likely. I also set appointment for service roughly 10 days in advance. Needed tires brakes, oil change. Got a quote for tires, brakes.& small dent repair as i had purchased when new for non-paint dings Was ok with the quote for tire/brakws "pleas order the tires/parts so I don't have to wait". Dropped car off at dealer Sunday after hours day before using key drop box for Monday morning with notes for the brakes per quote, Tires oil change & vehicle could be in body for work done in between while waiting for the other services to be completed. A call at 4pn in the Monday afternoon "...what are doing to the vehicle" Oil change brakes, 4 tires. Oi; will be done today, we have to order tires. 3 days later later in afternoon still no tires, do want us to do brakes we can get other tires. Quoted me tires not in stock. You cant fix this level of incompetence.. Picked up the 2018 Edge purchased at this dealer Thurs morning as Wednesday as itt was too late "...we are closing in 5 minutes" per service advisor. On may way home ordered same tires as on vehicle ( when new on same day- Thursday) at another shop. They we delivered next day Friday and installed following Monday morning. In other words do not waste time going to this dealer .due to the poor, poor, service More
Great experience with Drew Trotter at Valley Ford. I was able to get into a new Explorer ST with no stress, pressure, or frustration. Thanks Drew for hustling the second I reached out! Do not trust any quotes/estimates given from this dealership. The shop quoted me 6 hours plus the initial 1 hour of diag to replace a simple variable valve solenoid located under the valve cover. Thi dealership. The shop quoted me 6 hours plus the initial 1 hour of diag to replace a simple variable valve solenoid located under the valve cover. This was verified to be a 1.4 hour job plus the diag from 2 separate labor sources (Alldata and Mitchell). The same part number quoted was replaced just under 2 years ago and when asked about this being under the 24/unlimited miles warranty, they stated that the other bank solenoid was replaced. They were not able to prove which bank was replaced. I ended up calling another local dealer to explain the situation and they agreed to replace the solenoid for the 1.4 hours with no diag. They stated that several of there customers had nothing good to say about Valley Ford. There is a reason why they are changing the dealer same so frequently. They need to clean house and start over, especially the service department. After explaining this to my coworkers, we will be moving our fleet work to another location. This dealership is a prime example of why technicians get such a bad reputation. Please do yourself a favor and go to any other Ford dealer. More
I have purchased many cars from a variety of dealers. This was by far the best experience of buying a vehicle. They really wanted our business and that was proven by the deal that we received. Truck was damage during a recall repair. They said they would order parts and repair damage but can't get anyone to contact me about getting repairs done. They said they would order parts and repair damage but can't get anyone to contact me about getting repairs done. More
Would not recommend ordering any truck with Valley. The salesmen had no idea how to order the truck I wanted. They had no idea what was available as "jobs" according to the tiered order system ford cor The salesmen had no idea how to order the truck I wanted. They had no idea what was available as "jobs" according to the tiered order system ford corporate has. Spent around 6 months being told they were ordering it the way I wanted and by the time the factory started making the truck I found out multiple things were ordered incorrectly. Unacceptable on an $80,000 dollar truck. I honestly believe they did it on purpose because once the truck came in the asked for 5K over the MSRP on their website (which they wouldn't have gotten if I took it as delivered). This whole ordeal has turned me away from Ford as a brand, going to order a chevy instead. More
Valley Ford of Columbus, formally known as Roush Ford, sold us a 2019 Ford Escape this past July. Being young adults and new to this experience, we were so happy when we found this car. We drove it off th sold us a 2019 Ford Escape this past July. Being young adults and new to this experience, we were so happy when we found this car. We drove it off the lot and instantly we noticed a difference in the way it was driving. There was a sound coming from somewhere, and we could feel a slight vibration in the gas pedal. We figured it was nothing, because it was off the lot of a certified Ford dealership. One month later, we take the car back to Ford. The battery light had come on. We mentioned to them the sound we heard and the shake we felt. Which had now gotten worse. They tell us they did a multi-point inspection and every box they had was checked green. We were thankful, and left with our car. We noticed that the car was still making the sound, and shaking. So, we called the dealership again. They told us that they could not get us in until the next week. At this point, it had been a few days over a month since we bought the car and slightly over the time frame of our warranty. We dropped our car off and we have not driven it since. It has been over 20 weeks without a car, after they told us it would take 9-12 weeks to get our car back. Throughout the past four months Valley Ford has not reached out to us with any information on our Escape, unless we have called them first. We have called so many times, and about 50% of those calls send us to voicemail. We have called any department we can think of (sales, parts, maintenance, management, Ford Motor Company’s main customer service line, one of the owner’s), and none of these calls led us to any answers. After dealing with this company, it is safe to say we will not be buying another car from Valley Ford of Columbus or any other Ford Motor Company in the future. We recommend you avoid purchasing a car with this dealership. More
