My family purchased a Honda Oddysey from Valley Honda in October of this year. My process began seveal months earlier with my own research. When the time to purchase arrived we began at the dealer closest October of this year. My process began seveal months earlier with my own research. When the time to purchase arrived we began at the dealer closest to our home and walked in with every intention of writing a check on the first day. We were given a price with essentially no room for negotiations as we were told that the Oddysey's were in such demand and supply was so low that they could get the price they offered even if we didn't buy. A week later about one hour prior to returning to said dealership I went to Edmunds.com and requested price quotes from all dealerships in our area and specifically requested a text message back with the lowest price available. Out of six dealerships I requested info from three responded. Two by email and one by text as I requested. The one dealership that responded as I requested was Valley Honda, specifically, Jab Rahman. Not only that, but his price was the best I received and bettered the price I was originally quoted by more than $2000. As the vehicles had not even been produced yet he was unsure of what stock would be with his next shipment but if one was what we wanted, he would put our name on it with a minimal deposit. Roughly a week later he called and said one was what we requested and it was ours, but it would probably be 6-8 weeks until arrival. During that time frame we received numerous updates on the status of production and delivery dates and continued to feel as though we were being serviced the entire time. The day of pickup was simple and straight forward despite being a busy Saturday. The vehicle was exactly as we had requested and ready upon our arrival. We had the opportunity to meet Jab's sales manager as well as the dealership owner both of whom were polite and obviously service oriented. Even sitting down with the accounting department and filling out the paper work was painless (I've had bad experiences at other dealerships). A couple of hours at the dealership and we were out the door with our new car. When our next purchase occurs, I will be working with Valley Honda and Jab as this was by far the best vehicle purchase event I have ever had. More

He listened to everything I wanted and showed me a variety of options. He and his manager were very direct in the pricing for the CRV I purchased on 1210/11. They were fast with the paper work and did not pressure me at any point in the negotiation process. This is what car buying should always be like and I will send anyone looking for a new or used car to Jab and Valley Honda. More

Originally went to Toyota to buy Camry XLE. First offer given to me was $19,500 OTD. Way too high. Dealer came in at $16,700 OTD. Told him still too high. Few days later, while I was at a honda dealer, given to me was $19,500 OTD. Way too high. Dealer came in at $16,700 OTD. Told him still too high. Few days later, while I was at a honda dealer, toyota calls and asks what they can do. I tell them 15,200 otd and I'll pick up the car. He agrees, Salesman says he is man of his word and price will not change. Left Honda to go get Camry, called dealer to tell him I would be a while. Toyota Salesman tries to tell me that original offer a few days ago of 16,700 wasn't a certified price like the 19,500. Basically, the only reason the price went down was because they took out the certification package. Idiot tries to tell me they would be happy to sell it to me at sticker and the final would be 17,400? I go off on guy for being a moron. Was really pissed, so I called Valley Honda. Spoke with a salesman named James, and told him I didn't want any BS. They had an accord ex-l in the price range I wanted. He was honest and told me he would work with my final number. His cool demeanor made me come in and the fact that the car was certified without extra costs was awesome. I was floored by how nice this dealership is. Best I've ever seen, and busiest. We test drove the car, and James gave me every piece of info I needed. I ended up paying 16,200 otd, but I got a way better car with less mileage and not once was I given any sales pitches to make me pay more. Great salesman and great experience. Should have gone here at the beginning of my search. More
