I took my 2015 Yukon in on a Tuesday to Van GMC where and it waited behind 26 other cars until Friday to be diagnosed. Note: (not repaired) Issue: I had a check engine warning light come on when I was ou it waited behind 26 other cars until Friday to be diagnosed. Note: (not repaired) Issue: I had a check engine warning light come on when I was out of town. It was checked at 2 locations and indicated a possible oil pump issue. If ignored it could result in engine damage. I was out of town and no one could look at it so I had to drive it back to Phoenix. Van GMC did a 27 point inspection of the Yukon. The windshield was marked as having no chips or cracks. In reality it has several chips and a crack that is large enough to have it replaced. It is on the passenger side and I was not aware that a small crack had extended until I saw their no chips or cracks inspection point. All fluids were checked and their report indicated they were okay except oil that was a quart low and was topped off. That should be of concern and was the reason I brought it in. What they didn't indicate on the inspection report was: 1. the brake fluid was very low. That could also be very serious and was not addressed. 2. the radiator coolant was low. 3. the windshield fluid was empty. No mention of any of the items and the inspection report indicated all were checked. Under the hood has a coating of dust from driving gravel roads. That dust was unbroken except where I lean to check the oil level. The 3 fluids that were low were easily seen and missed. There was no indication that anyone had looked under the hood to disturb the dust. In particular the oil fill cap was dusty. Yet they marked that the oil was a quart low. How do you add oil and not disturb dust on the cap? The inspection report indicated I might have a battery issue but it was not pointed out to me. Only upon my review of the inspection did I see it. Getting back to the potential oil pump issue. I asked if they had pulled spark plugs and looked for carbon or if they had taken an oil sample to look for shavings. The Service Advisor only said they wanted me to drive the car for 1000 miles, skip the oil change that was due and then see if if the oil level was down. In that 1000 miles what damage may happen? How they could check the oil level, add a quart and not see the 3 other fluids that were low is unbelievable. My last complaint is I don't like dropping off a car on Tuesday morning when it won't be looked at Friday. I have to rent a car. My car then sits until Friday. I was not given an option of dropping it on Thursday night or Friday morning. They admit they have a contract with a national car rental company. The longer they rent a car to me, the more money they make from the contract and the car rental company rents more cars. If they know they won't look at my car until Friday then have me drop it off Thursday night or Friday morning! I will be contacting GMC with my concerns and complaints. More
I would like to share my recent experience there at Vann’s. I am single middle aged woman who was looking specifically for a vehicle. I just happened to be working in one of the local hospitals carin Vann’s. I am single middle aged woman who was looking specifically for a vehicle. I just happened to be working in one of the local hospitals caring for the COVID patients this past winter. I went specifically to this dealer because I was told they had what I wanted which was a white 2019 Toyota Highlander HYbrid. Fell in love with the vehicle and bought it and itraded in my 4Runner and gave $2000down payment. My salesman, added that amount to the listed price of the vehicle. So in reality my trade Or down payment didn’t make the listed price go down at all. This was my fault for not catching it initially!! I was also assured my sales tax would be paid which they were not!!!Additiony, I have had this vehicle for 2 months and have not been able to get it tagged or registered in my home state so now I will be fined because I am over the required 30’days for registration!’ I have called the dealer and the bank where I have the loan financed SEVERAL times and have received no resolution!!! It is y general understanding that this “stuff” be taken care of by the dealer! But I am the one being “hustled!!” I am beyond over this entire experience!!! More
I ran across one of their vehicles on an external car listing website and verified that is was still listed on the Van Buick GMC’s official website, which it was. I went the extra step to call the dealer listing website and verified that is was still listed on the Van Buick GMC’s official website, which it was. I went the extra step to call the dealership and ensure that the car was in fact available. The sales rep verified that it was, twice. I left work early, drove 2 hours to the dealership and what do you know, the car that was listed on 2 websites and was confirmed to be available over the phone twice, was unavailable and had been for several days. What a slap in the face. After having purchased various cars throughout the valley, I can’t believe I finally fell for a dealership’s “bait car tactic.” They list a car on their website at a great price, will always confirm that it’s there if you call, they get you to show up, and pull the “it’s no longer available BUT ‘we have this similar vehicle that’s a bit more expensive’ card. The vehicle is still being advertised online. More

Called to setup a first service for my new 2021 Yukon AT4. Arrived two days later on my “scheduled” date and time only to be told my car would be with them a minimum of two days because they are short h AT4. Arrived two days later on my “scheduled” date and time only to be told my car would be with them a minimum of two days because they are short handed and had to many vehicles ahead of me. What’s the point of calling to schedule a time? Being busy and short handed is fine. Tell me that on the phone call to schedule so I can bring it in at time that you can actually get to it. More

Worst buying experience for me. Had to order 2020 GMC 2500HD AT4, waited a month and had to call salesperson to get updates. Last call to him, he is driving me new truck up from Tucson. I just happened 2500HD AT4, waited a month and had to call salesperson to get updates. Last call to him, he is driving me new truck up from Tucson. I just happened to call him when he was in the truck, he didn’t bother to call and inform me I would be getting it that day. Then the truck broke. Service department had a care less attitude. My truck sat all day with no one looking at it, so I picked it up and drove home (DEF service message, still drivable). Got it home and DEF fluid was pouring out of truck. Had it towed in, got it back 2 days later and it happened AGAIN. Towed in a second time, picked up truck after 2 days and found driver mirror damages. I have been waiting over a week now to hear from service regarding mirror replacement. To top it off, I have a dash camera and caught the lead service tech looking in my console when it was in for service. Why? Treat the vehicles like they are your c]valued customers, not rummage around in them! I did not have anything in the console, but I question their integrity. I will never buy or have a vehicle serviced here again. More
