This experience unfortunately is a prime example of communication problems between all parties. The terms that were agreed to were changed and at this point our understanding was that we were going to be simply putting a deal together based off of the previous discussion. That information was correctly transferred from that manager to another because he was leaving for his normal day off. When returning to the store, everything that was worked out previously had to be changed and renegotiated without any type of clarity. We always try to earn a customer’s business and accommodate requests if they make business sense. In this case we decided to continue with providing the additional items for the vehicle on top of the discount previously negotiated. The remote start system that was given was exactly what was discussed: a 2-way (signal to the vehicle and signal back to the fob). The second remote start that came along side of that unit for “free” was indeed a 1-way transmitter. In my personal opinion that is basically an added bonus, but I do agree with you that the range of the fob was inaccurately given to you. We do apologize that the sales person was mistaken on the distance of the fob and please know that we have corrected this and emphasized the importance of knowing this is only a 1 mile range not 3 miles. Unfortunately the remote start that was added, Viper, doesn’t offer any other option beyond a 1 mile range. Again, communication was the issue here. The trailer hitch that you asked to be included at “no charge” as part of the deal was the manufacture recommended style and size of hitch. We even went as far to provide you with an adapter to go to your desired 2 inch size. Your valve cap/”simple little screw cap” was also suppose to be a simple fix, however that wasn’t to your liking either. We did continue to exceed requirements to try and fulfill the not communicated expectation of a specific color valve stem cap as well. After your continued disapproval we have gone as far as to pay for a replacement one way fob to the two way fob. Eric DaPra General Sales Manager
