Dishonest and unhelpful. Brought my Jeep Compass in for a recall on the vehicle, a light on my dash and decided to have my brakes checked/tires rotated since it was going to Brought my Jeep Compass in for a recall on the vehicle, a light on my dash and decided to have my brakes checked/tires rotated since it was going to be in getting serviced. The recall was taken care of but Payman said my brake pads were at 2mm which is bad if that were true. He quoted me over $3,000.00 to have both of my batteries replaced and both front/back brakes/rotors replaced. I declined their services so I could take my car to a private mechanic and get an honest opinion. A few days later the private owned mechanic calls me and tells me that my back brakes are like new and my front brakes have at least 10k-15k miles left on the low end. They also told me that my main battery was ok and the only one that had to be replaced was the auxiliary battery. With the private mechanic it was only $205 for the battery and installation. At the dealership I was charged $490 for them to run diagnostics and lie to me about an issue that isn’t even there and they didn't even rotate my tires. The private owned mechanic didn’t even charge me for diagnostics. It's nice to have everything done at the dealership to keep a nice record on your car but this dealership is out for your money and it's not worth it. Save your time/money and find yourself a private owned auto shop with workers who genuinely care about fixing cars and helping people. Very unhappy with my experiences at Russel Westbrook Van Nuys. Waiting a week for this place to even look at your car is absolutely unacceptable. Being open on Saturdays doesn't do any good if you're not even going to look at the car for the till the following friday. T absolutely unacceptable. So far it has not met my expectations, when bought the car all nice gave us food like any other dealers when they want you to purchase a car. So I made an appointment with PAYMAN, I get there and he tells me that in order to get a diagnosis I need to leave my car for 3-5 days witch with the auto theft app installed in the car I saw my car was just sitting there for about 3 days!! One's I called for any updates on the car I asked for the number to get a rental car. Then they stated to work on my car like I was careless for 5 days!!! Even worse it was rainy days. And it dosen't stop here so PAYMAN calls and still has the audacity to ask so the light was on? Like why would I take it in? Because maybe I just didn't need my caring? Then he says ok so somebody has to drive the car is that ok obviously I had to say yes I need the car to be ok. So they did drove it took it to who ever drove the car to his house and in the morning took it to go get coffee...anyways I had to call and keep asking for updates I guess they got annoyed because PAYMAN said its ready! Like really when was he going to call me?! So we went to pick up the car and still had to wait more than 20 minutes for us to go to the car and get the key they didn't handed it. We literally got it from inside the car. Hope the lights from my car won't turn on any time soon.. More
