I purchased a F250 Super Duty P/U from Vernon Auto Group and was given a very nice salesman by the name of Deiter Brannon. I was a little afraid at first to purchase and out of state vehicle but Deiter explained all the details of this sale to me and it worked out pretty good. Since I was not able to fly down to pick up the truck, I had it transported to me here in California. I received the truck and I am very happy with it. After I received it Deiter called and ask me if everything was ok with the truck and I told him it was and I was so happy to finally see my truck. He had the girl in the technical department call me to go over any details about the truck that I needed to know about. She was very nice and helpful and told me to call her anytime with any questions that I may have about the truck. More

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable sales team; great experience overall. The only issue was the final signing of the transaction took over 2 hours of waiting on one person. The location was very busy that day, however the final signing was brought out by the salesman I had been dealing with (so the 2+ hr wait could have been avoided entirely). Prepare to feel like a number if you shop here. They deal in volume, and it shows. There is NO negotiation. I mean NONE. Couldn't even get a fluid change out of them. I was basically told, "If you don't pay this price, someone else will...and soon." The two showrooms look like a Pakistani call center. It's all desks, computers, and phones. No cars in the "showroom." My main issue with my purchase was in getting my refundable deposit back. It took almost two weeks of hounding them after the purchase to get a measly (to them) $500 put back in my account. It should have been done the second my bank transferred the money to them the day of purchase. Instead, I was told it had to wait until "the paperwork was complete." A week after recieving my plates in the mail (paperwork definitely complete at that point) I was still on the phone trying to get my deposit back. Unacceptable. I decided to take a shot on these guys mainly due to the glowing feedback they seem to get everywhere. This goes to show that, as with anything in life, your mileage my vary. Yes, I got a good price on my purchase. There's no denying that. But the overall experience was so frustrating, annoying, and impersonal that I can't really recommend buying there unless the deal is so screaming good that you're willing to feel like cattle being run through a chute. More

I was in the market for a new Ford vehicle and I was aware of Vernon Ford because I previously bought a truck there. I first set up a deal with my local Ford dealer in the DFW metroplex and although th aware of Vernon Ford because I previously bought a truck there. I first set up a deal with my local Ford dealer in the DFW metroplex and although the price for the actual vehicle was very similar to the price of the new vehicle at Vernon Auto Group, the price I was offered for my trade in was frightful. It was not anywhere close to the Kelley Blue Book or the NADA book. I had also been in contact with Jr Cavillio at Vernon to see what their deal would be. I know they had treated me right the first time and I am pleased to announce they did it again. Their trade in value for my 2007 (excellent condition) came in just under the NADA book and the price for the new vehicle matched my local dealers price. Overall the difference was $2,600 between the two dealerships. I will in the future always consider Vernon Auto Group my dealer and I have recommended them to other friends and family members. More
