No pressure sales help with Used Vehicles. So we are in our 70's and am pleased to say the used car sales staff have been terrific in helping us with the purchase of our first hybrid vehicle. So we are in our 70's and am pleased to say the used car sales staff have been terrific in helping us with the purchase of our first hybrid vehicle. Firstly, I had made an appointment because I had viewed a vehicle of interest on line. Dan Schneider the manager had Gary Capper help us. No waiting with this friendly, unassuming, and knowledgeable staff. Gary was very good at explaining the new technologies using analogies that were easy to understand. Again, patiently explaining how things worked. Since I showed interest, Gary asked if I would like to have them look at my CRV for a possible trade in. Gary and Dan the manager did it and had an answer in a few minutes. Very fair and again, and no anxious waiting. Very fair pricing for the vehicle and the trade. Having decided that the time was right to try a hybrid, we arranged for delivery this morning. Again I was pleasantly surprised to find the "non corporate handing one off to a myriad of professionals to handle the paperwork" non existent. Gary handled it all except changing the plates. Nice surprise, where we had experienced previous transactions at other dealerships, taking over a couple of hours to half a day with waiting, etc., Gary handled it all and we were out in less than an hour. Simple!!! Refreshing!!!! Also, I had found the evening of the first day and after commitment to purchase, a coupon on line. This morning I emailed Darlene and she got back to me. I returned her email, asking to send the coupon to Gary. Later I asked Gary about this oversight on my part because I had intended to really look first and he arranged to honor the coupon..... The vehicle was delivered clean, tank full, and more questions that we had were explained well. In all the best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had. (Truely!) If this is any indication of service in the other components of Metro Toyota, I think they are on the right track to build and retain loyal customers.
