I went to Danbury VW a couple of weeks ago in search of my first car. I had been to several other dealerships and always left with a bad taste in my mouth. Not only was he courteous and took his time, especially after the dealership was closed, he was very knowledgeable. He even let me take the car out for a second test drive 5 minutes after we had returned due to my concern with the Jetta S's horse power. Keep it mind it was after closing around 9pm on a Tuesday. Danbury vw advertised themselves as being dedicated to exclusively to "Certified Pre-Owned sales". They advertised my used V10Touareg as Certified pre-owned and confirmed that the vehicle had a two year 2 exclusively to "Certified Pre-Owned sales". They advertised my used V10Touareg as Certified pre-owned and confirmed that the vehicle had a two year 24,000 miles warranty. I went to pick up the vehicle (Seven hour drive from my house)! and when I returned home I VW USA said that there was no warranty and the dealer is refusing to call me back. Stay tuned... More

Dealership has great service department, friendly salespeople. However three times I have tried to buy a new car from them and been told we had a deal only to have Neal the finance person kill the d salespeople. However three times I have tried to buy a new car from them and been told we had a deal only to have Neal the finance person kill the deal. My problem is that I never feel Neal can tell you the truth about anything. Each time I have walked out after Neal killed my deal and purchased a car at a different dealer usually the same day.
