the service department at Prime VW exceeds all expecations I have ever had. The hours are exceptional ( you can normally call and get an appt the same day) The service folks are pleasant, even wh expecations I have ever had. The hours are exceptional ( you can normally call and get an appt the same day) The service folks are pleasant, even when delivering a nasty message (for example not being covered under warranty etc) I don't know last names, but the service folks-Jess, Colton, Justin are wonderful and they keep you informed as to how long or how much longer it will take, they always make sure you want or don't want your vehichle washed, always let you know of the cost or no cost. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else! I come there even for little things like an INSPECTION STICKER. (which is out of my way but they are so easy to deal with which is why I keep coming back. I was there last Friday night for an Inspection Sticker for my Toureg which I had just taken out of storage in my garage as it's getting close to snow season. Just looking around, noticed the Tiguan's and thought of the gas mileage being better etc. Jason Broker, spoke with me, answered my questions, checking in with another person to be sure he was giving me the right answer ( which is nice when you can ADMIT that you dont know everything!) A rareity with car salesmen. Jason walked me through info, which I know a lot about VW's as this is now my 4th...I own an EOS, have owned a Jetta and a Toureg. Jason was great, He deserves kudo's for his assistance to me. One issue which is NOT Jason's doing...but the dealership...it was a promotion for snow blowers. I had to sign off on a paper that I wasn't being discriminated against but I didn't get a snow blower. the reason was that I was getting a lower price on the vehicle (it's the price that was quoted to me, in writing, the Friday before I bought it) The advertisement said you would get a snow blower, there was no caveat to this......I think they should have honored this. Ira Rosenberg should have provided me with one. Would you let him know this please? His TV commercials indicate he wants to know about any problems....let's see if he walks the walk after talking the talk. Thank you.... Everyone we worked with at this dealership was great. My wife called ahead of time and talked to Rich Demsey who worked with the numbers she gave him to find us the right car to test drive. Steve was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, he had already talked with Rich and was clearly up to speed on what we were looking for. We found our new car, Steve and Rich gave us numerous options and were very helpful in finding us the best price possible that fit our budget. They gave us a great deal on our trade in, the next day we picked up the new car which Steve had ready to go for us. As new residents to Maine we were pleasantly surprised to work with people who took pride in their service as a change of pace. We usually don't fill out these things so that in itself hopefully should say something. More

I was in need of a used car and I contacted Prime Motors and spoke to Rich Dempsey. I had a couple of cars in mind that I had seen on their website and he looked into these cars for me and had them moved to and spoke to Rich Dempsey. I went down to the dealership and we test drove the cars. He was knowlegdeable and very helpful. I never felt rushed or pressured. I usually find the car buying experience to be a very stressful experience but with Rich it was a very pleasant experience. I bought a used Hyundai Elantra and I am very satisfied with it. Kyle Spencer was great, he took the time to explain, provided excellent history and answered any questions. The sales department was great. Service, however, need a lot of work. Every time I brought my vehicle for service, their customer service was poor. I had to constantly call for an update. The last visit I was told it would take approximately 2 hours or less. I sat there not given any update for over 3 hours. I finally stated "What is the status, and I need my vehicle, whereas, I had an appointment". This department needs work. At no time during the test drive or the negotiation did I feel as though I was being railroaded or taken advantage of. This may be the first time in a long history of car shopping for me. Speaking of the negotiation (and I hesitate to even use the word negotiation, at all times it felt far more like a simple discussion of options), I cannot express how impressed I was by both Rich and Jill, who handled the financing and warranty aspects of the process, respectively. Neither tried to overwhelm me with numbers - the discussion was at all time open and honest, and I always felt that my expectations and best interests were being honored. Clearly a car dealership is in the business of making money, but a fair, equitable arrangement that worked for both parties was obviously the goal. Kyle was exceptional and went out of his way to make sure all my needs were being met. Once the deal was struck, he had my bright new car, fully gassed and freshly washed and cleaned, ready and waiting for me. Steve went the extra mile for me. I was going to purchase another car. But having 2 beetles before. I decided to go with a new beetle. He got me in my price range and was a pleasure to deal with. The radio was replaced with no questions asked. I made an appointment on Monday I was in that friday with a new radio all under an hour. The people @ prime volkswagen are really there to satisfy you and treat you like family. That is the way it should be!
