I brought my Tiguan in for an oil change and routine maintenance, and it was at the service center for about five hours. After returning home, I received an alert indicating that the windshield washer f maintenance, and it was at the service center for about five hours. This is something that should have been addressed during the service, along with checking and topping off other fluids like the coolant. Now I need to make a return trip—about 20 minutes each way—to ensure everything is properly taken care of. More

Be very careful when dealing with their service department. I was charged a "diagnostic" fee for a rain sensor issue. They sprayed some water on the windshield, claimed it worked as designed, bla department. I was charged a "diagnostic" fee for a rain sensor issue. They sprayed some water on the windshield, claimed it worked as designed, blamed me for getting my windshield replaced with non-OEM glass, and then charged me $200. They didn't fix anything. They didn't even recommend a new windsheild. Most places have the integrity to not charge you for something they can't fix. Very disappointing. This was the last time I'm trusting them with my car. Regardless of whether they could replace the windsheid or not, they could have told me I had aftermarket glass, which could be the issue, before charging me the $200. They clearly aren't interested in the customer experience. They'd rather just take your money. More
