Pressure. Learn from me! So we ended up at VW on my son's birthday. Just stopped to talk for a bit. Met with a sales person I had been chatting with online. We were going to s So we ended up at VW on my son's birthday. Just stopped to talk for a bit. Met with a sales person I had been chatting with online. We were going to sit and discuss our needs when an old friend walks in and is a salesman there also. He kind of takes over and sits us in front of a computer with car prices, while he went to bring a car over. The prices were similar to what I had seen on their web page and also the direct emails from sales people there. What the emails didn't say is that you have to qualify for many impossible things to get that price. We didn't find this out until we had driven two cars and sat down to look at the numbers. The car was 25% More expensive then anything we had been shown!! Wow! What a waste of time. Now it was time to go to birthday dinner. Pressure time... You can't leave, you need to put down money now. But I haven't even seen the cheaper car you say I can aford. It will be great, Everything you want. But we need to go, we will come back and finish this Monday. NOOOOO!! Now where I am stupid... If the car is as good as you say it is then I guess we'll start the process and you can bring me my car later tonight. Dumb!! I didn't drive the car. I didn't even see a list of the options only to find out it had very few. Including the ones I wanted most. My bad! We even found the next day a giant puddle of oil in my garage from the new car. At least they let me trade that back in for another one. Last sad part. They messed up the paper work three times. Had to keep signing. Then I get my first notification from the credit union and low and behold the payment is more then the paper work said it should be. But the sales people are no longer interested in me. I already bought the car. I will just refinance it next week. Don't give in to the pressure. Take your time. Come back another day after some research and thought. I still would have bought a car, just not the one I did. It's hard to say if I would recommend this dealer. Some of it is my fault for giving in to the pressure. But I guess the pressure shouldn't have been so high in the first place. More

When we were in preparing to lease our vehicle our daughter called my husband to say that she was stranded because her car broke down. Chaly offered for us to test drive the car to go pick her up! Yay for seeing our need and taking care of us even when he hadn’t secured the sale. It wasn’t about making money - it was about helping us.
