Always pleasant....but problem was not solved. We came into to the dealership to have a noise checked out on the rear of my Passat. Even though the service department was unable to locate what w We came into to the dealership to have a noise checked out on the rear of my Passat. Even though the service department was unable to locate what was causing the knocking sound they did a complete inspection and found no problems. We would like to bring my Passat back once again and perhaps go for a short drive with the mechanic in order to bring to his attention exactly what we are hearing. This is not an occasional hollow knocking sound but it does occur each time the car accelerates from a stopped position. As always everyone was very polite and very customer focused. It appears my 2015 Passat has no mechanical problems but maybe something loose back by the muffler. We do appreciate the professionalism that is shown at VW Southtowne.
