When selling to an out of state customer, the Finance department is holding the paperwork, because they want the vehicle to be emissions tested. Indiana doesn't do emissions testing here where I live. Wa More

Unfortunately, the finance department doesn't have anything to do with titles but I have given your information to our titling department and someone will reach out to you to go over what is required of your state in order for them to allow us to release the title. If Indiana requires an emissions test, you'll need to get one done but we'll make sure. Thanks so much.

The experience there was a good one. It's the Finance department that is holding the title of this vehicle. It is fully paid for, and I need the title to get my plate for this car. The world doesn't revolve around Illinois, or their Dealership. They need to know what the States around them do and don't do. Signed Former Illinois Resident.
