Repeat visit frustration It seems that every time after I come in for annual service and take care of some of the recommended service suggestion, I have one or two repeat visi It seems that every time after I come in for annual service and take care of some of the recommended service suggestion, I have one or two repeat visits in a short period. These new issues were not found or supposedly can just happen at any time after the service check. This service visit did not diverge from the pattern. One day after my service there was a short engine shut off while I was idling. Then two days later when I drove the car again it happened while driving in traffic. This resulted in another 4-5 hours at the service center. The next time I drove the car after that visit, the check engine light has come on. It makes me wonder with whether it is the brand of auto or the service center. I have been using them based on their location for 10 years with 2 different Volkswagens, One of which I bought at this dealership. I may have to evaluate based on how this next issue is resolved. These are recent events and I am awaiting a call back from the service tech for the check engine light. The person I spoke on Saturday when I called could not pull up the system and requested that I call back. For real service I would have expected that she would call me back when the system issue was resolved. I called back when I could an hour later and was only able to leave a message. While trying to make the original service appointment it took me 4 times to call to get ahold of someone. Even though I was assured by the operator that someone would call back after the message was left. Its frustrating. I understand staffing is impacted by Covid, but I should receive a call back when I am told I will get one. We will see if I get a call back tomorrow from my Saturday message. There have been other aspects of my original visit that was very good Adam is very friendly and worked to keep the high price of services at the best price he could. Also on my second visit he did work to find a part so I would not have to drive an unreliable car home and come back again. Which I did really appreciate. Its just the frustration with repeatedly having to come in again and again after I have been in for a service inspection. More
