WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!DON'T GO THERE ESPECIALLY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! DON'T GO THERE ESPECIALLY WITH YOUR KIDS!!! DON'T GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANNA GET HUMILIATED!!! We got to the dealers WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! DON'T GO THERE ESPECIALLY WITH YOUR KIDS!!! DON'T GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANNA GET HUMILIATED!!! We got to the dealership around 4pm. Xyz was our sales person from the beginning he/she didn't have a friendly attitude not sure why. He/she asked me if we wanted to do a trade in and I said not sure it really depends on the deal we get from the car, and he/she interpreted our answer as NO. Normal process started we went back and forth on numbers first of all their prices were advertised on a High end of the market according to true car. The reason why we went their 1st they had the specific car that we were looking for 2nd I had 2 offers from other dealers and I wanted to see if they can beat the price. As you know a lot of dealers are willing to meet and beat the price. During this whole process his/her attitude continuously displaying as if he/she was giving us a HUGE FAVOR by selling us the car. He/She kept on repeating it's very late he/she has a reservation at 7pm which he/she just canceled basically overall attitude was IMMENSELY dissatisfied. I'm sorry but isn't this expected in most case that you might get late????? If I am arriving at 4PM (dealership still except customer until 45 minutes before closing) you still have 2 hours to make me a deal. But no as you know in many case at almost all dealership there is a lot of back and forth between the sales person and the backend managers to come up to the good deal. As you all the most dealerships always start you with the maximum numbers. So I had do negotiate to the fair price, please tell me if I am wrong about this????? After continuously felt attack that I was wasting his/her time (as if this is not their job) here comes the General Manager: MR. MICHAEL Zafiriou!!! OMG!!!!!!! I HAVE NO IDEA WHO MADE THIS PERSON A MANAGER FOR A PLACE LIKE WHERE YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS. Here are some qualities of him: Short temper, EXTREMELY RUDE, Ignorant, THE WORST ONE HAVE NO REGARDS FOR KIDS. HE YELLED IN FRONT OF MY 4 YEARS OLD DAUGHTER FULL ON. When I started recording his barbaric behavior he said This is the private property you can't record and snatched the phone from my hand and said I will sue you for recording me. OMGGGG WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND OF STATE TALK TO THEIR CUSTOMER LIKE THIS???? ESPECIALLY IN FRONT OF THEIR KIDS. At one point he said you are taking advantage of the Lady/Man???? Like seriously?? My wife and my daughter were with me I was speaking to him/her with respect and in my culture women are the honor of family WE RESPECT WOMEN NO MATTER WHAT. I said if you think I'm being disrespectful why don't you talk to me???? And then Mr. Michael was quite and switched the topic. I understand and I was being hard on them by asking all these small details about price, comparing prices with other dealers, showing them discount from my employer, pretty much everything a person would do to save as much as possible. So please tell me how I disrespected you, how I was being rude, and how I wasted your time??? ***UPDATE*** After writing this review visited Dealer Rater website and looks like I am not only who had the same experience with this General Manager Mr. Michael. Most of the "Positive" reviews seems fake More

Buying a car is incredibly stressful for me, and I dreaded the process so much that I haven't purchased a car in 12 years. That being said, I'd come to VW of Downtown Chicago any day. The process was so relaxed, I wasn't pressured to buy now, it wasn't an adversarial experience at all, and I got a great deal.
