From the first telephone conversation with Erin through the actual purchase of my new car, everything was handled flawlessly. While 4 other dealers told me it would be either impossible or very difficult to order a car from the factory, Erin answered my questions and did not push me to buy another car just because it was on their lot. In the end, I did find a car on their lot that I liked. I additionally found the same car at a dealer that was 4 miles from my home. This closer dealer had told me "you can not order cars from the VW factory", which I later found was completely untrue. Even though I had to drive 155 miles to buy from Erin and VW of Naples, I thought they deserved my purchase for being so helpful and efficient. The closer dealer lost the sale because they were not honest with me and just wanted to sell me something on their lot. I have purchased over 20 cars in my lifetime, and this experience was the best. I stopped by Naples Volkswagen and met with Joe and told him that I was way over my mileage quota for my lease and was wondering if he could help me. Joe said, "not to worry my friend, I will work something out for you". I told my wife, Patti, that I was nervous about the whole car experience and was concerned that there wouldn't be anything VW could do for me. She asked me if Joe was taking care of me and when I said yes, she stated that I had nothing to worry about. Joe diligently worked the numbers with his magic and came up with a "hard to believe" package so I could get out from underneath the dilemma with my current vehicle. Joe put me in a brand new 2017 VW Tiguan. WOW! The process was painless and done quickly and efficiently. I was driving home in my new car in less than one hour and thirty minutes from the time I stepped onto the car lot. I wish Joe could sell houses. It would be a breeze. Thank you Joe for the great experience! Also, thanks goes out to one of your service managers, Matt Belloff. He hooked me up with the Car Care Plus schedule maintenance program which saved me a bundle.He is a great employee Kudos to my finance manager, Michael Schutt who made a nice adjustment during the final transaction which was really cool on his part. So, as you can probably see, I am a Volkswagen driver for life because of the people that sincerely take care of you at Naples Volkswagen. We visited several area car dealerships and Erin was the FIRST salesperson to actually take an interest in us...not only from a sales perspective but she was genuinely interested in our budget (i.e. she wasn't trying to oversell us) and our long term needs . AND she knows her cars...she understands and thoroughly explained all of the options for the model in which we were interested...and professionally guided us through the paperwork process! Needless to say, we closed the deal, are extremely happy with our purchase and boy oh boy were we impressed with Erin. Erin's product knowledge was superb, her PATIENCE was fantastic, and she listened to what I wanted and kept my price point & "must have" features in Erin's product knowledge was superb, her PATIENCE was fantastic, and she listened to what I wanted and kept my price point & "must have" features in mind and was also able to keep the 'sales' authorizations to a minimum. Often older females are talked down to, she recognized that I was knowledgeable about some items, and was able to impart her recommendations with reasons that showed she was listening, and not try to 'gain' a superiority or intimidating manner to the process. As older customers, we need a care-free car that takes into account the vulnerability of not being broken down or faced with un-expected maintenance costs in the future. Price is important, but having a reliable mode of transportation, that will give many years of driving without 'moving in' with the dealership - Priceless! and More
