I came into the dealership not with the intention of leasing a new vehicle, but just to browse around. From the very beginning everyone I spoke with was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Although I let Rex know I didn't really need a new car (I was merely sniffing things out) his enthusiasm and attention never diminished. I think by the time the night was done he and his team had spent roughly 1.5 to 2 hours with me, never letting me feel like they were uninterested in my questions or concerns about getting a new car. Rex, personally, was EXTREMELY friendly, never pushy, very honest and personable and comfortable to work with; he didn't feel like a salesman, just a guy who knew a lot about this car I liked. I can whole heartedly say that it was Rex and his "at ease" persona that got me into my new VW. Of course, there are other factors that played a role, but I truly believe if it had been another sales person the outcome could have been different. If anyone I know is looking to get a new car I will most certainly be dropping Rex's name. And I, myself, will surely be back in the future. More

Tammie and I purchased a new VW Passat Tdi Turbo SEL Premium from VW of Naples a few days ago. The car is phenominal, and the fuel consumption defies belief. The window sticker is sheer nonsense - it Premium from VW of Naples a few days ago. The car is phenominal, and the fuel consumption defies belief. The window sticker is sheer nonsense - it lists 40mpg on the highway and the only way to do that would be to tow something heavy uphill. We are getting mid 50's highway mpg with cruise set just over 70 mph. In town, at speeds between 45 and 60, the fuel consumption defies belief. We love the car, but the sale would have fallen thru more than once, but for the hard work and personality of our salesman. We scored this as all 5's because it looks to us like, the way this system operates, anything else would be attributable to Luxon. That would not be appropriate. There were several issues, but I'll explain one that illustrates my point. I have never understood why anyone buys a car with a "donut" tire or a full size spare tire on a stamped steel wheel (that doesn't match) - perhaps because I am old enough to remember when things were done differently. I always spec a vehicle to include a matching spare wheel and tire that can be rotated at oil change intervals. Otherwise, you eventually wind up with a useless donut, or a perfectly good (expensive) tire that you get no service from. Our deal specified that the car be equipped with a full size matching spare. Luxon called me when the wheel/tire arrived (they had to order it) and I delivered the vehicle to him at the service department. When it was returned, he and I discovered that they had simply thrown it in the trunk. He was visibly embarassed - the impeccably dressed young man spent thirty minutes installing it as it was supposed to be. It took some time because he had to modify the styrofoam insert with a pocketknife. "All's well that ends well," and we would certainly rate Luxon's performance as outstanding in all respects.
