In that video he mentioned a small detail I stated during our first phone call about my wife, which instantly made us realize he was different than a typical “pushy salesman”. He was actually a nice and respectful man. Even the talk during our test drive was enjoyable. We worked to get the price where I needed it and he didn’t give up until we reached a great deal for my purchase. He was also honest and I felt very little pressure, considering most “used car salesman” like to push and push. Joe did not and he said if we can’t do this and make me happy, he hopes for no hard feelings. I felt very at ease as he was patient with me as well. He has been there for at least a decade as the awards in his desk testified to that. He is the senior salesman there (as far as I could tell) and I am very happy I dealt with him as I could relate to his character even though I am about 25 years younger than he was! So far, a few days in, and the smile is still on my face! I would highly recommend Joe Oliver to someone who doesn’t like typical salesman tactics, doesn’t want stress or pressure, and maybe would enjoy working with someone who served honorably in Vietnam.
