I walked in after researching and Jeremiah helped pull vehicles immediately and helped work to get the deal. I got a flat tire and had a tire repair contract that I purchased from a VW dealer. The company that wrote the contract advised me to take my car to a dealership because they would be able to easily work purchased from a VW dealer. I talked with the service department at VW of Oak Lawn and they told me to have it towed there. Upon filing the claim with the warranty company Oak Lawn said my claim was denied because the tires were worn out and the tread depth was too low. These tires had around 3k miles on them. I took my car to a local tire shop who confirmed the tires were like new. Also, VW of Oak Lawn had put a summer tire on instead of a winter tire to match the other three, which needed to be replaced. I had the tire shop put on the proper tire so I wouldn’t be driving around on mismatched tires. I contacted the warranty company and they told me that the dealer filed the claim with improperly measured tread depth, which they were repeatedly told to measure properly and send back pictures. The warranty company sent me these pictures. I called Oak Lawn to ask for my money back and they said they could only switch out the bad tire for me, which had already been replaced. I spent $300 for them to have my car for 2 days, lie about my claim being denied, sell me a bad tire, and try to sell me 3 more I didn’t need. They refused to return my money, told me a manager would call me back the next day, and then never called me back. Stay away from this dealership. This is the third VW I have had over the last 10 years. There are plenty of other VW dealerships in the area that are all much better. The people I spoke with at Volkswagen of Oak Lawn are some combination of completely incompetent and extremely unethical. More
