I stopped by to look at a used VW EOS. They only had 1 in the lot. The salesman I worked with seemed honest but still tried to pull the old numbers game with me. They are hustlers, nothing to be ashamed in the lot. The salesman I worked with seemed honest but still tried to pull the old numbers game with me. They are hustlers, nothing to be ashamed of but nothing to be proud of either. Sold me a car that was supposed to be Certified Pre-Owned, it wasn't. Car was not prepped or cleaned, just rinsed off and topped off. Just an overall negative experience. Price was so-so. Wanted to rip me off on the trade as usual but only knocked down $500 on the price. Doesnt repsect Veteran discount that VW gives to all US Veterans. So in my honest opinion, go somewhere else. More
I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this dealership. Vincent and the GM worked hard to make a deal for me , so I could get the car I wanted. Extremely helpful , and not pushy! I went here looking for a GTI, new or used. Johnathan was the employee who helped my father and I find the exact car we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable and informative, but not to the point was the employee who helped my father and I find the exact car we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable and informative, but not to the point of being one of the typical car dealers who just wanna get you out the door with the car. He genuinely seemed to care about what it was we wanted and what we could afford. When we found the 2011 GTI which I now drive (and love) he made sure I didn't leave the lot without knowing the car inside and out. The staff was all helpful and friendly, from the first salesman who said hello to Agatha who had me sign the papers and drive home in my new car. My only complaint about the entire experience is that I took so long to get rid of my old car. More
I purchased a Volkswagen Jetta SE from Vinny at Atlantic Volkswagen in West Islip, New York. The dealership was beautiful and everyone including the sales managers were more than willing to make me feel com Volkswagen in West Islip, New York. The dealership was beautiful and everyone including the sales managers were more than willing to make me feel comfortable about being a "first time buyer". I knew I was interested in a Jetta and Vinny was more than familiar with all of the Jetta's trim levels and options. I picked a white Jetta SE equipped with a sunroof, beige leather interior and a convenience package which includes blue tooth, Sirius Satellite Radio, heated seats, and a touch screen stereo that holds 6 CDs that Vinny gladly programmed for me before I picked up my car. The process was smooth and hassle-free. He answered all my questions and worked diligently to get me at the payment I wanted. Vinny also included me throughout the entire deal process, making sure I knew exactly what was going on and where my money was going. I would recommend that anyone buy a Volkswagen from the Atlantic dealership. More

Car dealerships are intimidating for normal (middle class) folk, and when my 2003 Beetle (purchased from another local dealership) needed repair, I was pretty nervous about taking it to the dealership. class) folk, and when my 2003 Beetle (purchased from another local dealership) needed repair, I was pretty nervous about taking it to the dealership. It was old, and dealerships, I'd heard, were very expensive. In my experiences with other dealerships, customers are sorted by potential profit. Not so here. Even though my car is almost 10, I was treated like I'd just driven off the lot- or more accurately, was about to drive it off the lot. Customer service is impeccable at this dealership, and it's not based on whether you look like you're there to buy a pricey new Eos. My father and I looked at a few pre-owned models, and even though we were on the fence about it, Jonathan in sales spent two hours with us and never once put on a hard sell. Not even a little bit- he just seemed confident he could get us what we wanted at a price we could afford. (And he did, but I couldn't part with my old Bug.) Even after we ended up just getting the repairs done, every. single. person we'd encountered asked if we needed more help, thanked us for our business, and offered coffee. Although I didn't end up with a new or pre-owned VW, I will definitely go back here when it's time. Fantastic service, fast, reliable and an all around excellent experience. More
