Annapolis Volvo participates in the DealerRater Certified Dealer Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to resolve and clarify any issues with your experience at our dealership. Cmszuba was originally told the lowering kit would not be covered under warranty. Adam (Service Manager)agreed to inspect the car for the noise the customer was hearing with the caveat that if it were related to the aftermarket components, it would not be covered by Volvo and there would be an inspection fee of $125.00. If it were a Volvo component causing the noise, we would warranty the repair at no charge. Once inspected, it was noted that the cause of the noise was related to the aftermarket parts and the installation of said parts. Adam decided to only charge him $62.50 for the inspection in an effort to promote customer service. We welcome all types of repair/maintenance through our shop regardless if it is warranty or not. Warranty work is free to the consumer and the manufacturer reimburses the dealer. There is no reason we would turn away warranty work unless declined by the manufacturer. On another visit by cmszuba, he did not have a ride to work after dropping off his car. Adam drove him to work personally. cmszuba even went as far as to submit an application for employment with Annapolis Volvo during the time frame he is referring to in his comments. As far as the “grinding of the gears”, we didn't see it but apologize and will speak with our Valet to see if he has a problem with particular vehicles. Also the time frame of waiting, if extended, we should have apologized when the customer was here and, again, we apologize for the delay.

didnt read the whole review to see if i mentioned the clicking noise. the other noise i brought the car in for. When i would "get in it" a "click click" would occur. I was told it was a switch and would be replaced. after the switch was "replaced" (this was the second time i had asked about the clicking btw) i put my foot down to around 6 lbs of boost and there was the click click. i called adam when i got home and he didnt know what to tell me. I said fine and i still have the clicking. this is an OEM part, not one of my aftermarket ones (springs, rear sway, front sway endlinks, intake) (and i suppose you could add fog lights, weighted shift knob, boost gauge since im sure that would be considered warranty breaking). since it doesnt seem to affect performance i have learned to live with the clicking and plan to go to another volvo dealership further away and see if they can tell me the problem. Speaking of telling my the problem... when they told me it was a switch they would not tell me the location or what it was for. They said they would order the switch and install it or i could walk away. whatever its free i took it. Had i known the switch, or what it actually did, i would give my left hand if i couldnt fix it myself. The clicking problem your referring to is caused by my front sway end links. yeah i paid 62 something, but i was told it was the top of my struts, didnt mention my front sway end links....wow. if they were loose it would be major damage in a short time. low and behold i took all 4 apart and back together and called my aftermarket spring company (eibach which recieves great reviews and makes a great product) and they had never heard of the problem. it was on the forums were i found the sway endlinks solution. Lastly i was planning on getting the 100 hp polestar tune (yes i was told by a lady in sales there was a 100 hp tune available as well as 50 and 25 for 3k, 2k and 1500). im not stupid, really? Needless to say i ignored it but posted on the forum and got more negative feedback for annapolis volvo. no such thing as i already knew. i called back today to ask the same question and a more intelligent male concurred it was false and the only polestar tune was 23 hp engine gain (like he knew the difference between engine and wheel gain) and it was 13XX or so. looking forward to a response I did apply bc in my shoes, it would be cool to work on what i have a strong passion for and try to use constructive criticism to help everything i was troubled with. never got a response at all. didnt even get a response it was received, i had to inquire to make sure it was seen. From your perspective, sure why would you hire someone like me? i gave a bad review!! "oh no! not a bad review" well its the truth of my experience. i have passion for volvo's. how many employees, OR EVEN TECHS, could tell you what an M47 in a 244 is? any volvo person Should know that. ill let you ask and figure it out. google for a quick answer. sum up, looks to me like your still putting the blame on me. you know who i am, but i have no idea who is responding to these. would like to see you hire people, not like me, but actually have passion for cars; or volvo's. could take in more information and be much much more helpful to people like myself when i call. Instead of just telling me if its fwd/rwd/awd, the horse power, options and base price :P anyone can look that up, you can't buy experience

i'd also like to point out i was not informed to rent a car one must be 21 of age. This is why adam drove me, oh also it was on his way home... or rather in the same direction (before you say it was slightly to the right of his way home). After the ride i would have rather walked across hot coals. having been informed of the 21 rule, i would have gotten a friend to meet me or rode my road bike home.
