And as someone who has a 20-year career in the experience design industry, I do not say that lightly! It was so easy to talk to Richard N through channels that were convenient (like email and text) and he was incredibly prompt when I had questions or had to actually talk to him on the phone. He is still answering texts from me well past "office hours", and we're almost a month in to me buying this car! And Richard R! Since Richard Nourie couldn't be there when I was going to be able to get to the dealership to finish up the buying process, Richard Ramey stepped right in. From the moment I walked in to the dealership (which is beautiful, by the way) to me driving away in my new car, he was incredibly attentive and made me feel at ease right away. We had a lot of fun that night! He and Ken, who probably got me through the finance paperwork faster than anyone ever has, were super accommodating...it was late on a Friday night when I finally got out of there (well past closing time) and not once did anyone try to hustle me out. The whole process was efficient and productive but also very caring. You can tell these guys care about building genuine relationships. This Volvo dealership is not the closest to my house but you better believe I'll be going there from here on out. If you are in the market for a Volvo, reach out to these guys. Several hundred $$ repair for replacement of $85 part. I'm a hobbyist-level mechanic and was going to replace it myself given your $150/hour labor rate. However, looked at replacement parts on the web and while I could save substantially on an aftermarket part, I prefer Volvo OE replacements which price quoted was competitive with the Web. When I advised service adviser of my plan, he was willing to negotiate a reduction, offering `10%. I countered at 20% which service manager accepted. I am retired so the discount was appreciated and service authorized. More
