Unplanned need for servicing of leaky windshield. I was driving on a road trip far from home, when, all of a sudden, it seemed to be raining in my car! I was driving in a big rainstorm and water was coming down from the ceiling console. Besides being worried about having water coming into my car, I also was worried about all of the electrical connections that are housed in the ceiling panel. I ended up going to Herb Gordon Volvo in Silver Spring, MD, to see if something could be done to solve the problem. It was determined that the windshield had a leak. Right away, Mr. Espejo called someone who does that kind of repair, asking him to come down to the dealership ASAP. All in, I was at the dealership less than two hours, and the job cost what Mr. Espejo had accurately estimated it would. Everyone at this Volvo dealership was exceptionally kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. I felt fortunate to be in the very capable hands of Mr. Espejo. More

Front "Volvo" emblem replacement Dana called me back and indicated that I could come in and have it replaced while I waited. I did so a few days later, and in the course of having a Dana called me back and indicated that I could come in and have it replaced while I waited. I did so a few days later, and in the course of having a coffee, the replacement was done under warranty. Dana is a pleasant person to work with. I purchased my 2012 S-60 R-design at this dealership and they are the only ones who touch my car - including new tires, etc. They definitely service what they sell.....and keep my car humming on the road! I purchased a 2016 certified Volvo XC90 and I must say that Peter is extremely knowledgeable about these vehicles. I cannot think of one thing that he did not know about the car or one thing he had to look up when answering questions. His sales tactic is very low/no pressure and that is very unusual in the (car) sales business. I can say that I actually enjoyed the time spent at the dealership making the purchase. Diego was an added bonus as he, too, was a complete pleasure to work with when it came time to make the actual purchase (i.e., pay the money)! My new car is full of bells and whistles and Peter took the time to sit with me in the vehicle for quite a while to go over many of the features. He offered to spend more time if needed another day in that the dealership was closing/closed when I left. In summary, for what can be a grueling and unpleasant experience, Peter and Diego made it anything but. I am a very happy and very satisfied customer! More
