He also demonstrated how all of the new features such as Parking Assist Pilot worked. Poor customer service and misleading information I do not write negative reviews, but our experience at Volvo Cars of Queens yesterday is still weighing on my mind. We brought in our 2008 XC70 to fix I do not write negative reviews, but our experience at Volvo Cars of Queens yesterday is still weighing on my mind. We brought in our 2008 XC70 to fix malfunctioning tire pressure sensors. They said we needed a software upgrade for $200. Ok. Then they said all but one after-market sensor was working, so they needed to replace one with a Volvo brand sensor for $300. Ok. Then they said they replaced the sensor, and a second after market sensor stopped working with the software, and should be replaced for another $300. At this point we asked to stop all work and put back our original after-market sensor and call it a day. They did not offer to refund the software charge, which they confirmed we did not need and did not solve any of our issues. The service manager then explained to us that this was a common problem with the 2008 model and that he recommended we just keep the non-functioning sensors, since the car is so old. Why didn't they tell us this at the beginning and save us from wasting all this time and money? On top of this, our main point of contact (Tammy) was not friendly or courteous and disappeared the moment we came back to pick up the car. She provided a perfect example of how this service center treats it's customers. We typically bring our car to Volvo service centers upstate or in NJ and this was our first visit to a service center in the NYC area. Very disappointing. To top it all off, they had the nerve to install a Bayside Volvo license plate frame on our car. I'm posting this for other drivers, but also for the staff at Bayside to get their act together. You can do better when dealing with your customers. More

We went to 3 other deals and the difference is noticeable. Other deals either didn't call us back after the test drives or tried high pressure "used car salesman" tactics. Peter gave us time to make a decision, followed up with us about the cars available and explained the finance/lease options. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a car to speak to Peter Fearon. More

I really appreciated that no one there was pushy -- they were very knowledgeable and didn't use any high-pressure sales tactics that I had experienced at other dealerships. The whole process was fairly smooth. They were great with helping to navigate the purchase and they communicated information in a timely manner which was really important due to personal deadlines. Joe went with me for a test drive but there was no further grinding noise so we are assuming that it was a. rock,stone, etc that was the cause.... Joe seems very knowledgeable and listened to a video with sound from my 2018 S60 with less than 7,000 miles so we made an. Appt for the 12th to check it out because this sound gave him concern!!!! More
