My 2003 XC90, which i have owned since new has been like a literal family member to me and my kids and even our dog! When the check engine light came on and the car began to run incredibly poor and the transmission felt like it was slipping me and my wife thought this might be the end of probably one of our dearest family members. We had the car towed into the service center where the valets were quick to greet me and get me written up. After i was introduced to our service adviser, Tammi, who assured us our vehicle was in good hands. About a week later, i found myself in the area and decided to check in and see what the scoop was on our car, To my surprise, Tammi and the tech working on out car, Joe were both at the counter discussing my car. Turns out they were about to call me and i had walked in at just the right time. This is the part i love more then anything, i was able to speak directly to the tech, who came off as very well informed and articulate in how he spoke about our car and Volvo's as a whole. Now the tech, Joe, was quick to explain our issue to be a failed TCM computer for the transmission. He told us that it was common with our cars to see them fail due to heat a moisture getting inside and that the new one he would be installing would be and updated part to prevent this from ever happening again in the future! I was ecstatic! not just because what i thought was a bad issue was just a 600 dollar fix, but that i felt comfortable with the way it was explained. I got my car back 100 percent working like a new machine. Im glad i had the pleasure to deal with both Joe and Tami. i also ave an oil change coming up on the horizon and i cant wait to be back! Thank you again guys!!! you guys rock! More
Straight forward and quick, quality service. I have an older model where the big repairs just don't make sense anymore. They trouble shot and found the root cause was a missing bolt (lost during a previous job at another dealer service?!?). Took care of it and tweaked a few other items that needed tweaking while they were at it. They squeezed me in for an appointment, were super honest and saved me money, and gave me top service. Will definitely go back. More
Not very considering I went there're to fix 1 rim and replace 4 tires due to slow leak of air on 1 tire. Though there were some delays delivering the car because of software update, they provided loaner car. Patrick also called a couple times after delivery to confirm everything is fine and we don't have any question regarding to the car. Definitely best dealer and best sales. More

Raymond Qu is an excellent Sales Consultant, who actually listened to what we wanted in our new car and made sure our new car had all those options. He also demonstrated how all of the new features such as Parking Assist Pilot worked. What made our experience excellent is the attention that was given to us before the sale was made was the same after the sale. Raymond Qu wanted to make sure we were happy and we are. More
Poor customer service and misleading information I do not write negative reviews, but our experience at Volvo Cars of Queens yesterday is still weighing on my mind. We brought in our 2008 XC70 to fix I do not write negative reviews, but our experience at Volvo Cars of Queens yesterday is still weighing on my mind. We brought in our 2008 XC70 to fix malfunctioning tire pressure sensors. They said we needed a software upgrade for $200. Ok. Then they said all but one after-market sensor was working, so they needed to replace one with a Volvo brand sensor for $300. Ok. Then they said they replaced the sensor, and a second after market sensor stopped working with the software, and should be replaced for another $300. At this point we asked to stop all work and put back our original after-market sensor and call it a day. They did not offer to refund the software charge, which they confirmed we did not need and did not solve any of our issues. The service manager then explained to us that this was a common problem with the 2008 model and that he recommended we just keep the non-functioning sensors, since the car is so old. Why didn't they tell us this at the beginning and save us from wasting all this time and money? On top of this, our main point of contact (Tammy) was not friendly or courteous and disappeared the moment we came back to pick up the car. She provided a perfect example of how this service center treats it's customers. We typically bring our car to Volvo service centers upstate or in NJ and this was our first visit to a service center in the NYC area. Very disappointing. To top it all off, they had the nerve to install a Bayside Volvo license plate frame on our car. I'm posting this for other drivers, but also for the staff at Bayside to get their act together. You can do better when dealing with your customers. More

We went to 3 other deals and the difference is noticeable. Other deals either didn't call us back after the test drives or tried high pressure "used car salesman" tactics. Peter gave us time to make a decision, followed up with us about the cars available and explained the finance/lease options. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a car to speak to Peter Fearon. More
