A day ago, could not imagine that will buy GLA250 from Santa Monica Mercedes W.I.Simonson....We looked at other dealerships but found that the service and professionalism along with the exact car we wanted, exceeded our expectations at Santa Monica Mercedes W.I.Simonson. We found that Santa Monica Mercedes W.I. Simonson Inc. has the most practical selection of cars with packagers and options for customers with different taste, preferences, and finances and --most important--sales people who are able to work with customers of different nationalities and cultures ....Would very much recommends Brian Lane to anyone interested in driving and buying Mercedes Benz cars.....`He exceeded our expectations on all levels in the purchase of our new GLA250. 45 minutes to check my car in for service. My first time coming in for scheduled maintenance. 7:45 appointment (I was there on time), at 8:30 the adviser finally came to help me (the guys that My first time coming in for scheduled maintenance. 7:45 appointment (I was there on time), at 8:30 the adviser finally came to help me (the guys that immediately greet you and do the little digital registration of your car are great, courteous, and efficient). Before anyone even looked at my car, the adviser suggested getting my front end aligned ($180). I said "here's a suggestion, have the technician look at it first to see if it is needed, then make a suggestion). I was told when I made the appointment it might take a few hours, but when I got there, I was told it would take all day. Luckily, I had reserved a loaner car. Now for that experience. Nothing wrong with how the process was carried out; but my compliant is they make no effort to provide you with a car similar to the one you brought in for service. I think that is not a good business decision, because they give you a car that you have not idea of how it operates and you are put onto the streets trying to navigate traffic and figure out the features and mirrors and everything. I might have to get rid of my Benz and go back to Lexus or give Audi a try, based upon Mercedes Benz service centers. Hopefully, I won't have any surprises when they call me about my car. Will provide more feedback at the end of my experience, but I didn't want to wait to write up this part of my experience. More
They are using cheating software. My car broke down after being repaired with Mercedes Benz Beverly Hills. Fed up with them I had it towed to Simonson. Both service centers are in bed with each other along with Mercedes Benz USA. They are manipulating and using cheating software (like Volkswagon) to shut off ignition switches and charge for services not rendered or necessary How do I know this? I purchased a Car Fax report after Simonson did work on my car. Nothing was ever done. Always purchase a Car Fax after repair work is done to verify charges. Horrible experience. More
Love this dealership This is the third car I've bought from this dealership. That says something. A couple of weeks ago I bought the vehicle I have been dreaming of. My husband had just leased his second car from Mr. Jerry and told him what I wanted. When I went to the dealership Mr Jerry had the exact car I wanted ready for me. I traded my old car in ( which was hard as I loved it) and had my new vehicle ready the next day. Mr Jerry spent considerable time with me explaining all the details of the vehicle so that I'felt completely confident driving off the lot. Mr Jerry is simply the best! Thank you Jerry! Kudos to the service department. Andy is awesome. My two former cars were serviced exclusively at W I Simonson. I NEVER ever had any problems with these vehicles. Service was only normal wear. You get what you pay for! Love this dealership and service department. More
Service Department Honesty It pains me to say this, but we have to comment on the honesty of the service department. We took our 2013 C250 into the shop due to a right front whe It pains me to say this, but we have to comment on the honesty of the service department. We took our 2013 C250 into the shop due to a right front wheel stress fracture. The car has 22K miles and is primarily driven around the MdR area. The tire was loosing air so we first took it to our 76 Garage (nice full service place by the way on Maxcella); who advised it was not a tire issue, but a wheel stress fracture. They showed us the wheel and in their expert opinion, there were no indications of any damage that would have caused this. Never having experienced a cracked wheel in any car I purchased, did some on-line research and to my surprise, this occurrence is somewhat common on AMG wheels. Armed with this information, took it to WI Simonson thinking it would be covered. WRONG! They opined my wife must have hit a pothole, something to cause this damage. It should be noted the tire was not damaged (original) and frankly, growing up on the pothole ridden east coast, steel wheels simply don't crack when encountering potholes. These arguments were not relevant to WI Simonson. They wanted $1300 to replace it! I was shocked given the empirical evidence and suspected they simply did not want to either admit there may be a defect or incur the expense. I will never buy or lease a car from these people! I have lost trust in their maintenance department and their desire to back their products. More

I ended up buying my new car from Shawn Farahmand and main reason behind it was his friendly attitude. Most dealers are pushy and just want to sell their cars. But Shawn Farahmand really took his time to get to know me first and then he used all of his resources to give me the best deal. He treated me like a friend or a family member and I never felt any pressure at all. I highly recommend Shawn Farahmand to everyone in Santa Monica area. More
Reputable and Reliable- Great Service I am a second time car buyer. I was in need of getting a vehicle quickly after my 20 year old car had been draining my bank account with repairs. She made it possible for me to drive off the lot that day with a steal of a car. I bought a 2006 Camry with only 38,000 miles marked below Kelley Blue Book value. The car is truly in pristine condition with all the bells and whistles. As a second time buyer with very little credit, it was hard for me to get a loan. But W.I. Simonson worked they're hardest to find me the lowest possible interest rate and made sure I was able to get into a reliable car as soon as possible. I will definitely be back to W.I. Simonson when it is time to upgrade into a new car. More

I walked in late one Sunday afternoon looking to make a deal on a C250 or an E350. I was promised by the sales person Hamlet Karapetian a car with all the electronics. I wanted, GPS rear camera, etc. After realizing there are no parking lines on the rear camera and the iPod can not be integrated into the music system I went to dealer. They explained to me that I did not get the full electronics package. Think about it, a Mercedes where you hit the curb because you can't see it, and a Mercedes where you can not integrate an iPod into the music system. Mercedes should be ashamed to make, let alone sell a car like this. I had a Volvo S60 that was way smarter than this, the seats adjusted when you got near the car, the doors open and I could attach my iPod, how amazing! When I went to close the deal, the finance guy Marc Rose told me he was going to throw in undercoating. I thought, how ridiculous, this is something you would get on the East Coast, not here, especially on a 3 year lease, who cares. Then he said he would thrown in the service plan for 3 years. Low and behold, he never did, he added it to the bottom line and kept telling how great it was that he gave me under coating! In the end their head of finance Lauren Castanos would do nothing about it. Please look at all the 1 stars these people are getting, it's a red flag. I would not be surprised if they are paying for the 5 stars. STAY AWAY, go to a real Mercedes dealer and don't buy the C250! -Michael G. More
simonson service is a dishonest operation my car is now 6 years old and there has literally not been one time that i have visited their service dept that they did not completely overcharge and my car is now 6 years old and there has literally not been one time that i have visited their service dept that they did not completely overcharge and try to rip me off. they appear very professional in their presentation but they not only overcharge by at least 50%, they also create things wrong with your car that are not even there. and their charges to get the SERVICE WARNING LIGHT off are just made up by them and the light comes on just for the sole purpose of them getting you into their service center and trying to convince you to pay for things that are completely unnecessary. you will notice a turnover in their staff at the service center because a person is either comfortable being a con or they aren't. i think there are those who leave bc they can't play the game of stealing from the trustworthy customer who just bought a car from them. i cannot wait to get rid of my mercedes for the sole reason of not having to deal with such slimy people ever again. they are a disgrace and should be ashamed to be a part of the santa monica community.
