Had a good experience while I was there to test drive and ultimately buy the car, however, immediately after driving off the lot, I started having problems. The used car I purchased did not have a gas cap, which I wasn't made aware of until the check engine light came on after purchase. As it was a Saturday evening, I wasn't able to go back to the dealership for support. When I asked for compensation for my time spent determining the problem and eventual purchase of a new gas cap, I was told they could send me compensation equating to the cost of an oil change, plus reimbursement for the gas cap. I have not received full compensation. It has been a couple of months and I've had several dashboard lights come on and today the car won't start. I know there's always a risk when buying used cars and I declined their extended warranties, but I would have expected fewer problems when buying from one of the largest dealers in the metro. During the financing process, I was told that my car would automatically get a 3-month, 3000-mile powertrain warranty coverage, which was not accurate, so I am paying for repairs out of pocket. This is the second car I've purchased from Walser, and I will not do so again. More
My wife and I enjoyed the experience overall buying our vehicle. The staff were all very friendly and made the process relatively seamless overall. I do give an extra kudos to the sales staff as they were vehicle. The staff were all very friendly and made the process relatively seamless overall. I do give an extra kudos to the sales staff as they were definitely busy the day we came and it never felt that we were neglected or pushed off for other sales that were happening at the same time. The only two reasons it wasn't a five star rating was due to the fact that negotiations are not a thing there, not the sales peoples fault, but it was a bit sad to hear that as a lot of people still view that as an incentive to buy. The second reason was that there was some body damage that we found on the vehicle (small scratches that had been painted over) that were not mentioned or listed. I don't suspect that the dealership had anything to do with this, but it wasn't mentioned and I kind of wish it was. Overall, I would definitely come here again and I would recommend others come here as well! More

Anthony Pitts is the go-to guy. Let me begin by saying I would rather have a root canal than car shop. I dislike the entire process from overbearing sales people to negotiations Let me begin by saying I would rather have a root canal than car shop. I dislike the entire process from overbearing sales people to negotiations ending with the hard sell for all the upgrades. When we arrived at Walser Nissan Burnsville, we had a firm idea of the car, packages and upgrades we wanted, our budget and preferred finance option. We walked in and stood for a couple minutes while people looked at us while walking by. As we tried to figure out who to approach (we used a side door due to construction), Anthony came from the back and immediately walked up to us, introducing himself and shaking our hands. He asked if we were being helped and offered to take us to his desk. Important things I noticed: 1) : Anthony made eye contact with me, shook my hand and didn’t divert communication directly to my husband. Being equal parts of this process it was refreshing to be treated as such. 2) Anthony’s desk is a tall top, I explained that I had just had knee surgery and he immediately moved us to an empty low-top desk. 3) He was authentic in his approach, his communication and his demeanor. Anthony had a trainee (Dante) with him and while we walked Anthony through what we wanted, he was also walking Dante through the process. He was patient and thorough walking both Dante and us, through the process. Anthony is very knowledgeable, personable and genuine. While we waited at various points in the car shopping process (paperwork, financing checks etc) the conversations were fluid and easy-going, touching on several topics from his military career to our pets to places we’ve traveled. It felt like we were chatting with a friend, not a guy trying to sell a brand new car. Anthony was attentive to both my comfort and the car buying process and I actually had a really good time! Lessons learned: 1. f you want to buy a car, go to Walser Nissan Burnsville. 2. Ask for Anthony 3. If Anthony is unavailable, ask for Dante (no longer in training) 4. Car buying is less painful than a root canal (and can even be fun) if you find the right sales person. 5. We plan on only buying cars from Anthony (or Dante). More

I received the report and worked w/ them to get some other things repaired (for an additional charge). They completed the work, accidentally broke something, took a few extra days but didn't charge me anything for it. They finished the final repair and I've had an overall good experience with this team. More
I originally left a review, but it appears to have been removed, so I wanted to provide an update after owning the vehicle for one year. This has been, without question, the worst vehicle purchase I’ve removed, so I wanted to provide an update after owning the vehicle for one year. This has been, without question, the worst vehicle purchase I’ve ever made. Most recently, my brake lines failed while I was driving—a serious safety issue. A vehicle should not require major brake system repairs after only one year of ownership, especially if it was properly inspected before being sold. Looking back, it seems the dealership took this vehicle in on trade and put it directly on the lot with little to no reconditioning. The undercarriage appeared to have been freshly coated, which I now believe was done to conceal extensive rust rather than address it. Since purchasing the vehicle, I’ve also dealt with a radio that doesn’t work, an unreliable remote start system, and a tire pressure warning light that came on within 30 miles of leaving the dealership and has never been properly resolved. I expected a dealership to stand behind the quality and safety of the vehicles they sell. Instead, this purchase has cost me repeated repairs, frustration, and concerns about my family’s safety. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. I encourage anyone considering buying a vehicle here to have it thoroughly inspected by an independent mechanic before making a purchase More
I suppose all dealerships are the same but when asked if they could do a few minor things before purchasing the car they flat out said no to everything....it is a reminder when things are good for the deale they could do a few minor things before purchasing the car they flat out said no to everything....it is a reminder when things are good for the dealership you win, but when things are not good for dealerships, the line outside may be quite short.
