We recently brought our 2018 Explorer in for routine service, as well as to address an issue where the vehicle would randomly unlock itself — whether in use or parked. The technician determined that the service, as well as to address an issue where the vehicle would randomly unlock itself — whether in use or parked. The technician determined that the wireless keypad was faulty. Kevin explained that we had two options: replace the keypad or simply disconnect it, and either option would resolve the issue. Since replacing it came with a higher cost, I opted to disconnect it for now. What I didn’t know at the time was that Kevin had taken the initiative to reach out to Ford on our behalf — and thanks to his efforts, Ford agreed to cover the cost of a new keypad under warranty. Kevin has been our service advisor for all of our Ford vehicles over the years, and I can honestly say there’s no one I trust more with our cars. He truly goes above and beyond, always taking pride in providing an exceptional service experience. Thank you, Kevin, for everything you do for the Graves family.
