My service writer, Darlene, was excellent and deserves recognition for her professionalism and customer care. That said, I am extremely disappointed with the overall cost of service. Charges for items such as grease, gloves, and eyewear are excessive, and paying over $800 for a starter is simply unacceptable. I have been a loyal Ford customer for many years. I have family members who work in Ford factories, and despite passing two other Ford dealerships, I have consistently chosen Wayne Akers. My family and I have purchased several vehicles from your dealership. People like Diego and Ben Buchanan—who recently retired—have been the reason we continued coming back. They truly were the glue that kept our trust and loyalty intact. Unfortunately, we have experienced too many problems over the years. Every vehicle we have purchased has had issues, and combined with the rising and unreasonable service costs, this has caused us to seriously reconsider our future purchases. At this point, we are likely to look for a different dealership, and we are also considering other manufacturers altogether. I wanted to share this feedback because of the long-standing relationship we have had with Wayne Akers, but the current experience has made it difficult to justify continuing that relationship. More
