Incompetent staff and rude managers I would be wary of purchasing a car here. It is bad enough they made a mistake on my paperwork that cost me hours of my life, but when I brought it u I would be wary of purchasing a car here. It is bad enough they made a mistake on my paperwork that cost me hours of my life, but when I brought it up to them I got the run around. When I finally did get a manager, he told me to deal with it myself and hung up, I wish I had gone to another dealer. I would gladly have given up $500 I saved and the 45 minutes to get to another dealer to save the headache and hours of my life wasted to fix their mistake that came after. I am not sure who these other people giving glowing reviews are, but I am wary and think they must be paid shills as there is now way anyone that goes there leaves happy! More
Poor customer service I bought a 2017 Hyundai Tucson Limited SUV on November 4, 2016 at Wayne Auto Mall Hyundai, 1935 Route 23 South, Wayne, NJ 07470. I am writing to compl I bought a 2017 Hyundai Tucson Limited SUV on November 4, 2016 at Wayne Auto Mall Hyundai, 1935 Route 23 South, Wayne, NJ 07470. I am writing to complain about the service I received. Wayne Auto Mall Hyundai gave me a temporary license plate that would expired November 23rd. I notified the salesman, Sean Cruz at Wayne Auto one week before the expiration date and was told I would receive the registration before the expiration date. In addition, I called three more times and talked with the manager as well as the salesman, Sean Cruz to remind them of the expiration date. I was repeatedly reassured that I would receive the registration on time. Since I did not receive the registration by the expiration date of November 23rd I notified the New Milford CT police department that the temporary license expired and I needed to drive to work. They told me I needed to get a temporary registration from Wayne Auto or I would receive a ticket if I drove the car. It would cost me $60 per day to rent a SUV. I require a vehicle to drive to work. I called the manager and informed him of the situation and requested reimbursement for any expenses I would incur, i.e. cost of ticket or cost of a rental car. The manager was very rude and said the company would not pay any expenses and I would receive the registration by Monday, November 28th. As of sending this letter, on December 6th, 2016, we still have not received the official registration papers for our brand new vehicle. I had paid $350 for the registration/Title fee, $5 NJ supplemental Titling Fee and $499.00 documentary Fee. It is unacceptable that I bought a $36,815 car and cannot use the car because someone did not complete the paperwork in a timely manner. On Wednesday November 23rd, after the conversation with the manager, I called the Hyundai main headquarters and informed them of the situation. She was surprised that the car was not financed by the Hyundai dealer but by the TD Auto Finance. I am unclear if this had a factor on the current problems. After the poor customer service response that I received, I will never do business with Wayne Auto Mall Hyundai again! More
