Easiest purchase/lease of my life! I am not a negotiator and doesn't like to bargain in person. What I did was contacted 3 dealerships via email to get the best pricing. BMW Concord completely ignored my question which was "what is your the best deal for this specific model" and kept on asking me to come in person. BMW San Francisco internet sales guy was really nice and personable but their pricing was pretty good. But it wasn't enough to draw me away from BMW Berkeley. BMW Berkeley had convinced me that this is the place to get my i3 BEV. Chris Phan, the internet manager, was down to earth and without any sales pitch just gave me the straightest answer I wanted to hear. As I said earlier, I don't like to play game and I am bad at negotiating. Meeting him in person and talking to him I felt I wasn't being pushed around and he was patient and down to earth guy. I never had the easiest time in getting a car from a dealership before. I remembered those days where it would take 3 or more hours of haggling to get the price you want. Oh, Chris Phan was very accessible by phone and email. I sent the dumbest questions about the i3 and he would responded within that same day. I don't know about the rest of the crew at BMW Berkeley, but look for Chris Phan when you step into the dealership. More
