Jenn, Understood on "remote negotiations" being somewhat of a frustrating process. If the dealership wasn't 30 miles away on the other side of the Bay, I would have preferred to knock it out in person. Chris is one of the least skilled sales professionals I've ever dealt with. I am a sales professional myself and have spent the last 7 years in direct sales for enterprise software to global organizations in Manhattan. My experience with Chris from an Internet-reach perspective actually managed to negate any advantage Weatherford had in terms of inventory (which is really sad given the number of 3-series convertibles that seemed to be in stock there). I understand the need for an Inet sales desk to filter out active leads. Unfortunately this employee's impressions heavily impacted my view of the dealership as a whole. Stonewalling me from speaking to a manager, spitting out used car sales cliches like a gumball machine, and generally not seeming to have any respect for my time turned me from an active buyer to thanking my stars when another dealer had an acceptable model in stock. I appreciate your followup as it does help. Unfortunately, at this point I'm going to be out of the market for a car for a few years having purchased cars for both myself and my wife recently.

After reading your post it sounds like you were looking to get a car that was on its way from Germany to maybe us or another dealership. Hi Jenn, Unfortunately on the sales side with the vehicle there is nothing more that can be done. I had so many problems with the vehicle and worked with BMW of North America to try and clear up my issues because I never heard back from Joseph Crow. I ended up taking a loss and selling the vehicle. At this point the only thing I am waiting on is my refund for the vehicle warranty I purchased. I had a couple of conversations with Kathleen Ingrim about the cancellation and sent her the necessary paperwork about a week ago. Per our discussions I paid $2865.00 for the warranty and will take a loss of about $79.58 a month on the warranty which picked up mid-December when the factory warranty ended. I haven't heard back from Kathleen yet about the refund and I am hoping that once again this isn't something that goes wrong and I don't get the money back that I am entitled too. This seems to be the pattern in my dealings with this dealership. That is really the only thing left for me to deal with and then I will have no further business with Weatherford. I do appreciate your response. Thank you.

I checked into the warranty with Kathleen for you and she said that we had sent your refund claim to AUL for processing. Once we receive the refund we will be getting you the money right away. Hi Jenn, Thank you! I just recently got an email from Kathleen saying we are waiting on AUL. My concern now is that I spoke with AUL directly and the information they provided about my refund is completely different from what Kathleen and I discussed before I cancelled the warranty. They are stating I would only get about half of the money back and Kathleen told me I paid $2865.00 and this warranty started when the factory warranty ended mid-December and that I would only lose out on a few months at $79.58 a month. This is not what AUL said. They said I would only get about 52% back which doesn't sound accurate. I hope they are wrong and I get back what Kathleen and I discussed because I should be entitled to it as I was only in the contract for 3 months. Thanks again! Shylia
