WE BOUGHT WHAT SHOULD BE DEEMED A LEMON BUT SOLD AS SAFETY INSPECTED! THE TRANNY WAS DEFECTIVE LURCHING INTO CROSSWALKS AT STOPS, CRACKED AND WELDED RIMS, AND WAY MORE WENT WRONG WITH THIS CAR SINCE I SAFETY INSPECTED! THE TRANNY WAS DEFECTIVE LURCHING INTO CROSSWALKS AT STOPS, CRACKED AND WELDED RIMS, AND WAY MORE WENT WRONG WITH THIS CAR SINCE I PURCHASED IT. I FEEL LIKE I WAS BRUSHED OFF BY THE SERVICE DEPT. EACH AND EVERY TIME I COMPLAINED UNTIL NOW EVEN THOUGH MY WARRANTY EXPIRED. IT STILL HAS THE PROBLEMS I HAVE COMPLAINED OF. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM WEATHERFORD AGAIN! THE CAR HAD TO HAVE BEEN USED TO JUMP CURBS! AND THEY CALLED IT A "CERTIFIED SAFETY INSPECTED VEHICLE".......YEAH RIGHT. DO NOT BUY FROM WEATHERFORD! More
I hope they have to close their doors. They were rude and worse than the SF BMW salespeople. I have good credit, cash, and want to buy a new car by the end of the year but would rather fly to Munich and worse than the SF BMW salespeople. I have good credit, cash, and want to buy a new car by the end of the year but would rather fly to Munich and get one there than buy one from the jerks in Berkeley or San Francisco. I lived in Grunwald you fools and my neighbor owns BMW dealerships - plural. I am the white guy with dreadlocks, expensive taste, and deep pockets. You guys know who I am and RAN to the asian couple who just drove up instead of coming to me in the lot for over half an hour. Profiling bit you in the arse. Never judge a book by its cover. You said the same thing when coming into this country now extend the courtesy you hypocrites. Jojo More
I am a senior located in San Diego, CA and wanted a pre-owned BMW for my wife who’s 2005 MBZ CLK was coming off lease. As an avid internet shopper, I decided to scour the BMW dealer’s web sites in San pre-owned BMW for my wife who’s 2005 MBZ CLK was coming off lease. As an avid internet shopper, I decided to scour the BMW dealer’s web sites in San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles County. I shop the internet for most buying decisions to maximize my time, energy, and reduce the cost of running around to find the right product at the right price with the right specifications, and finally to eliminate as many steps in the process as possible. Most BMW web sites in the Southern California were not very robust nor the inventory current, therefore I decided to expand my search into the SF Bay area, Portland and Seattle. One dealer popped out to be the most interesting site-Weatherford BMW of Berkley, CA. They have a web site and staff well organized for internet sales. After a couple of emails and a personal phone call to Roberto Roy the internet sales manager, I zeroed in on two 2007 328i’s fully loaded factory demos that were well priced compared to other BMW dealers CPO cars. On a Saturday morning, my wife and I drove to Berkley, spent the night, and met with Roberto on Sunday morning after breakfast. He had our first choice 328i ready to go, but my wife informed me the color was not to her liking, so we went through a list of other 2007 pre owned candidates which considered options, mileage, and colors. I really wanted a factory demo vs. a CPO for my wife because each was extremely well equipped with low mileage, and 3 years of warranty and maintenance left. Also, one thing that Weatherford also does as a policy is to fully disclose if any damage or paint work was ever done to its factory demo cars, so a buyer can make an informed decision. After making our selection, Roberto Roy escalated the paperwork for the finance manager Jim Whittenburg. Jim was very respectful of our time since we were driving back to San Diego that very afternoon. We decided to finance our car with a San Diego credit union the next week upon returning home, but found it more desirable to call Jim back and do it through the dealership. He and his boss Kathleen Ingrim, made it quick, easy, and at very competitive with rates and a reasonable term. I met a number of Weatherford support employees while at the dealership and found them very cheerful, helpful, and ready to assist in any way possible including the dealer prep guys and the delivery expert- Mike Pfling. The dealership has the largest selection of BMW’s of any dealership I have visited in the country, and many of their inventory of cars are kept indoors and out of the elements. Before making the long drive to Weatherford BMW from San Diego, I read some of the on-line blogs that were not especially complementary to the dealership. My wife and I decided that people who have had negative experience are more likely to post a negative comment vs. one who has had a positive experience, so we made the trip, and we are glad we did. Roberto Roy could not have been more professional, before and after the sale. I learned the dealership sells more than 300 cars per month and is in the top 3 dealers on the West Coast so their words and their music must go together. They sure did for us! More
DON"T DO IT! RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!!They are not even a negative 5 but a NEGATIVE 10!!!!! We should have stuck with Concord BMW, this is were we purchased our first 2 BMW's. Instead HUGE MISTAKE we went negative 5 but a NEGATIVE 10!!!!! We should have stuck with Concord BMW, this is were we purchased our first 2 BMW's. Instead HUGE MISTAKE we went with WEATHERFORD!!!!!! They are nice until you sign the paper work, after that they are all DOWN hill! NO follow through or follow up ESPECIALLY they DO NOT HOLD TRUE to their word. They owe us back $1089.00 that was promised during deal of the car. This was for a car payment we made (ONE DAY before getting the new car)on the 2006 750 BMW we were turning in for the 2008 750BMW we were leasing. We were advised that we would get it back since we qualified for BMW's pull ahead program that allows you a 3 payment waiver if you get a new BMW. They assured us several times during the deal we would get our money back and it was for 3 month pull ahead program, well turns out they only put in for 2 not the 3 so we can get our $1089.00 back. They are refusing to refund us. I hjave tried to get it resolved with the sales person, sales manager, finance manager, finance director and even the general manager(who does not call back or respond to email). Also supposedly they detailed the car before we brought it home, what a FARCE, they did a TERRIBLE JOB! The only nice person was the young man who went over the car features with us before we drove off the lot! I feel sorry for him having to work for such an "F" rated company! More
Roberto Roy exemplified the utmost professionalism from our initial contact and up to delivery. We are committed to referring anyone who inquires to Roberto at Weatherford BMW. He really conducts busines our initial contact and up to delivery. We are committed to referring anyone who inquires to Roberto at Weatherford BMW. He really conducts business with the excellence one expects with BMW. He was the best Client Advisor we encountered while trying to determine which BMW Center we would purchase. After visiting Concord BMW, East Bay BMW, and Roseville we were quite refreshed to meet Roberto Roy at Weatherford BMW. He did not haggle with us, but kept his word from quote to sale. He demonstrated class and integrity that you would not find at your average dealership. More

I was reluctant to visit and work with a "car dealership or car salesman" but after talking to Roberto via the telephone I decided to take a chance. I found him to be very professional and responsive to my automotive needs. He gave me very good advice regarding "lease vs. purchase" of the 535i. The reason that I'm writing this review is because I have always felt that a single women buying a car is a easy target to be taken by "car salesman" though Roberto Roy proved me wrong and I'm glad that my ex-husband recommended him to me. Worst Dealership I have been to. To make a long story short I went to the Dealership Saturday (6/28/08) to purchase a BMW that I been looking at. The Sales guy was more interested in talking on his cell short I went to the Dealership Saturday (6/28/08) to purchase a BMW that I been looking at. The Sales guy was more interested in talking on his cell phone then he was showing us the cars. However, they had the exact car I been looking for was on the lot so we started making a deal. The Sales Manager wanted to sell the car at $36,500 and we did not want to spend no more then $36,000, so we decided that this isn’t going to happen and left. Then I get a call from the sales guy on Tuesday (7/1/08) saying the OWNER of Weatherford BMW would like to talk to us and he will make the deal worth it. At first I thought it was a tactic they were using to get us back to the dealer because why would the owner be concerned with someone who is trying to purchase a used car. So we get there, not a surprise to me, the owner had to leave due to a family emergency but left the assistant manager the best price he can sell the car for $38,500. Two thousand dollars more then what the manager had stated to us couple of days before. They would not honor the $36,500 and told us we could not sell it for no less then $38,500.00. I have never head of an Owner ever get involved in a sale of a car. Avoid this dealership, I have been reading other reviews online and they are terrible and use cleaver tactics to get people to come into the dealership. More
If I could give this dealership a negative 5 I would too. Everyone should be weary about ordering a car from Roberto Roy at Weatherford BMW. Roberto and I agreed on a deal and he charged my credit car Everyone should be weary about ordering a car from Roberto Roy at Weatherford BMW. Roberto and I agreed on a deal and he charged my credit card with a deposit and placed an order for me, supplying me with a production number. After that there wasnt much communication but I didnt think much about it because I was following the production of my car through the BMW website. Once production completed I waited a few days and having still not heard anything I contacted him. It took a few tries and eventually he responded to me saying I hadnt been contacted because my production was canceled. This made no sense to me because BMWNA was telling me my car was at the dock waiting for a ship AND my deposit was never charged back to my credit card. Why would they cancel and keep my money?? At this point I tried getting into contact with the general manager of the dealership or the owner. I was told the owner is a company in Japan and I was pushed off to the sales manager. The sales manager told me he would look into it and call me back the next day which was a Saturday. Again NO CALL. I called on Monday and now a week later was told my car wasnt cancelled and that it would arrive at the dealership instead of going to South Carolina for PCD because the paper work wasnt filed properly or in a timely manner. This is important because I emphasized from the first conversation that I needed to have PCD especially since they arent local to me. Im guessing they though that would get me off their back. At this point I asked when we could reorder and get one that would go to PCD. Again I was told he would look into it and get back to me. Now 2 days later I havent heard a word. Nothing!! Initially when they said they had canceled the order I was suspicious that they bumped me off to accommodate someone who was willing to pay more because I had scored a really good deal. The rep at BMWNA seemed to concur with me, he actually suggested it to me without knowing I was suspecting that. Pretty dumb on their part considering in my first conversation I told Roberto that I would be purchasing an X6 in June, an M3 in September, and a next generation M5 when its released. With the looming recession and fuel over $4 a gallon they just tossed 4 sales out the window. I will be contacting my attorney, BMWNA, the BMWCCA, all the local papers and television stations in their area, and posting on every BMW forum/internet community. Ive dealt with enough dealerships and salespeople, including BMW ones, to know that proper customer service does exist out there. More

One person who I was working with, Grace, Started out nice, but became a typical sales lying idiot. So, I was in a major car accident 2 weeks before coming here. My car was totalled. I went to this dealership, and after doing all the paperwork, They told me the deal was approved and she was EVEN able to workout 4.9% interest. They only needed me to have proof the car was totalled. OK, DONE! Got them the paper, Grace told me to come back right away and I could get the car. I arrive, she tells me she needs time to see if she can get the deal approved. UMMMMM HELLLO!!!! xxx did you just say??? WELL, about an hour later, she is helping out another customer, she sees me staring and walks away. She comes back about 10 min. later, hands me a paper for my insurance that I gave her and says, well, they wont respond, so maybe another time. ARE YOU Fing kidding me? After all that driving, tolls and everything else? I thought that was extremely cheesy and a waste of my time. WHAT A JOKE!!! Then she turns around and starts helping other people again. The sales manager looks at me and rolls his eyes. F them and their Stupidi Dealership. Bought a new Range Rover HSE Anyways and love it!!! More
