They sent me a quote which I reviewed and accepted verbally and also through email. When I tried to secure the legal agreement, the dealer backed out stating it was a mistake. The quote was clearly not a mistake when it included the "extras" that were already on the truck. They also included pictures and a price quote. So here is the thank you. Since the dealer would not honor their quote I decided to continue to look. My search took me out of the city, county, and even the state. But it was worth it. I found a reputable dealer that had the exact model I originally requested from Weiss. This new dealer did not bait and switch and was willing to work a deal. So thank you Weiss Toyota. Comfortable experience My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday, semi-serious about replacing his truck. He had spoken online with Matt prior to making the 2 hour trip fro My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday, semi-serious about replacing his truck. He had spoken online with Matt prior to making the 2 hour trip from our home to Weiss Toyota. That day we couldn't meet on numbers, but Matt promised he'd work his hardest to get my husband in the truck he wanted at the price we wanted. We had to "walk" that day, but didn't leave feeling defeated or like we were a waste of the dealership's time. A couple of days later Matt called my husband and apparently has magical numbers fairies working alongside him. We picked up our truck the following Wednesday. Of course, my husband is in love with the truck. I'm just grateful that the experience wasn't one where we felt pressured, toyed with or like 2nd class citizens. Even during the tent event where we signed the paperwork and took possession, everything was easy, friendly and fun. Paperwork is always a chore, but Amy in finance kept us laughing. She explained everything in total detail, moved as quickly as possible through it and even worked a little extra magic to keep costs reasonable and give us what we needed. More
