Bought a used Subaru as a first car for my student child. Paid full price. It had 111k miles. After driving 500 miles the oil light came on. I brought it in to a Subaru dealership and they did an oil bur Paid full price. It had 111k miles. After driving 500 miles the oil light came on. I brought it in to a Subaru dealership and they did an oil burn test requiring another 1000 miles to be driven. The test failed and I was informed there was a recall and Subaru had extended the warranty to 100k miles. Wellesley Mazda had said there were no issues, there was a clean CarFax, and no recalls. There was no way to determine the issue until it was beyond the MA Lemon law. Wellesely Mazda refused to deal. They refused to acknowledge they had sold a piece of junk that will cost $4k+ to fix. They could have replaced the engine for free just 10k earlier. I am convinced they knew of the issue but chose to push it off on someone else. Lack of integrity. Lack of customer care. Their motto is Transparency. Maybe lack thereof. Not worthy of anyone's business. More

Negotiating the terms was easy and Michael was patient and attentive with us as we rounded up the necessary paperwork we needed to buy the car. My only concern came after we had bought the car. Michael said he would still be available, but I was becoming alarmed when I had gotten no information on how to make payments on our loan until after almost a month after we had bought the car. My emails asking for information went unanswered. Fortunately, I received a letter explaining things 2 days before the first payment was due. No harm in the end, but not the attentiveness I was expecting. More

Carlos Pereira is the best! I had such a great experience at Wellesley Mazda. This is our second car we have gotten from the dealership and Carlos Pereira is the absolute BEST.
