Marc Schoenhammer was the sales consultant who worked with us when we needed to replace our 17 year old Windstar after it was totaled by a driver who ran a stop sign. We were still in a state of shock from the accident when we went to look at cars a week later. We needed to be treated gently and we were, at Wellesley VW. Marc could not have been more professional. We never got the hard sell approach that we experienced at another dealer in the Natick-Framingham area. Marc patiently answered all of our questions and when we went on a test drive he made sure to take us on a route so that we could appreciate the Passat's features - at high speed, turning radius, brakes, etc. He told us he has owned VWs all of his life so he knows the product very well. We tested a 2013 Passat in Opera Red - my gut told me that this was the car for us but my husband felt we should also test the Accord and Camry since they were on our short list of 3 cars we were considering. Turns out the Accord and Camry do not have head room in the rear seats for anyone over 6 feet tall. The Passat does, and my 6 foot 3 inch son fits fine in the back seat. I didn't like the sales approach at the Honda and Toyota dealers either. So if you are considering a VW, I can highly recommend that you contact Marc Schoenhammer at Wellesley VW. Because we had no car in order to pick up the Passat we had selected, Marc volunteered to either deliver the car to our home or pick us up at home and bring us to Wellesley! We live in the Newton-Waltham area so that isn't exactly next door. Our Passat is now sitting in our driveway and we could not be happier. . More

If I have any complaints with this Wellesley VW, it was the handling of an error that was made during the purchase process of my vehicle. While I understand that mistakes happen, when given the opportunity to make it right, I felt that Wellesley VW could have been more accommodating. This is not a reflection of Kevin as he was on vacation by the time the error occurred. Ultimately, Wellesley VW did correct the error and accommodate me with a loaner vehicle, so I would recommend them. More

Andreas discussed various options with me, explained technical details related to each model and gave me the option to test drive a car when I was ready to do so. I felt no sales pressure what so ever and felt that Andreas was genuinely interested in offering me the best choices at a price I could afford. While I was not ready to make a decision that day, I decided to test drive two cars, something I typically don't do when all I want is to browse.
