I recently purchased my second Volvo from the Weston dealership and much of the credit goes to Vinnie Cubito —whom I eventually started calling “My Cousin Vinnie,” even though we had only met in person dealership and much of the credit goes to Vinnie Cubito —whom I eventually started calling “My Cousin Vinnie,” even though we had only met in person once. We began communicating by text. Buying a new car can be complicated. I want to make sure the bill of sale includes exactly what I ordered, that I’m getting the best competitive price, and that I’m not paying for unnecessary dealer add-ons. Vinnie is exactly the person you want to discuss all of this with. He has been selling cars for many years, and it shows. He is personable, knowledgeable, straightforward and, most importantly, someone I believe operates with integrity. He will go back and forth with management and work hard to drive the absolute best deal he can. Vinnie was equally helpful with my trade-in. He explained how I could obtain the best independent valuation and how his Volvo dealership could honor that value—giving me both a fair price and the potential sales-tax advantage of trading in the car. Obviously, Vinnie represents the dealership. What impressed me is that he also makes you feel that he represents you. That is not something I say lightly about a car salesman. Before buying my second Volvo, I considered virtually every vehicle in its class and several above it. My priorities, in order, were safety, dependability and power. I concluded that Volvo checked those boxes particularly well. In the dense and often aggressive traffic around Miami, I also appreciate what Volvo represents: calm, polished confidence rather than aggression. If you are considering a Volvo, ask for Vinnie.
