We negotia I worked with Joe Mack at this dealership (through Internet) to buy a Toyota RAV4. I reached out to the dealer on Tuesday late afternoon. We negotiated until Friday afternoon. After much back and forth, Joe finally sent me an acceptable offer at 12:30pm on Friday. I sent an email and accepted the offer at 1:32pm, indicated that since I was driving from Jacksonville, 3 1/2 hours away, I wouldn't be able to make it in that night, but was willing to give him whatever he needed to show it was a done deal. Whether that be a deposit, email or anything else. I didn't get a response Dom Joe, but since he was a working salesman, I wasn't concerned. I went to my bank on Friday and got a cashier check for the total agreed amount. My daughter and I drove down early on Saturday morning. Upon getting there, I was greeted by Ed. First Ed said Joe was there, then after a minute, Ed indicated he forgot that Joe was not in, but he could help me. I explained to Ed why I was there. He looked at his sales sheet and said he had "3" Toyota Rav4s on the lot. All were the same color, model and roughly the same miles. After figuring out which car Joe and I were negotiating on, Ed left to get the keys. After 10 minutes of waiting, Ed came back and indicated the car was sold the prior night and that I should have gotten an email from Joe's boss Josh. I did not receive the email, nor did I ever see a copy of it. Ed indicated they had to other cars in the lot that was virtually the same as the one that was sold. We test drove a car with 5000. less miles (the other one had 200 less miles). After getting back to the lot, I asked Ed about buying the car at the same agreed price. Ed indicated that since it had less miles, he wasn't sure he could do that deal, but the other car was virtually the same. I told him that was fine. He left to double check. After waiting another 5 minutes Ed returns with the sales manager. Then I'm told that since these two cars have not been on the lot as long, they would not come down on the price. Here's the kicker, these two were 10% more than the car I agreed on. Here's their reasoning: "We finance the cars on the lot. Our finance manager is not willing to negotiate on a car price unless it sits on our lot for an extended period. Basically, he costs us money in interest to have it sit here. After a period of time and costing us money, then he is more willing to negotiate on the price." To cut to the chase, the pay interest while they don't sell the car, after losing enough money, they mark down the price of the car, so they don't make the money they expect. Either way, I left with no car and drove another 3 1/2 hours home. More

I had my hopes set on a Chevy Malibu, and my husband and I started researching, and looking online almost a year ago. I found that Kuhn had several Malibus at the lowest prices. Wholesale prices, no exaggeration! So after one local lot rubbed me the wrong way, and sold the car i was interested in (without telling me), I decided to take a drive to Tampa. Afterall, the internet had tons of Malibu's, but this lot alone had several. My husband told me not to talk to anyone or make any decisions, but when I arrived Michael Miller greeted me immediately. I had to ask for help! I wanted to see the Malibu's. He let me test drive one, and introduced me to Ryan, a sales manager. They assured me that even with my credit, I would get approved with my husband signing. I liked the cars they had, but really wanted tinted windows. Ryan offered to tint them for me! I was in. I submitted my application, and told them I would be back the next evening along with my husband. They were waiting when we arrived, with a beautifully detailed Malibu, cheaper than the 2013 the other lot sold out from under me. We had one final step: talking about the numbers. Missy was so helpful! What we thought would be $360 monthly payments, became $318 monthly payments, PLUS an amazing extended warranty that covered everything you can imagine on the vehicle!! From beginning to end, they went above and beyond to get me into the EXACT car I'd wanted for over a year. They exceeded every expectation, and changed any existing opinion i had of dealerships before. I can't say thank you enough, to Kuhn Honda!! I will be a lifetime customer, and will definitely be telling my friends about them!! =] More

After visiting a couple other Bay area dealers where they made us feel like worthless beings (one told us he was wasting his time with us) and trying to sell us what THEM wanted us to purchase, our search led us to Kuhn Honda for one final attempt before we made a decision on two previous vehicles we would have to "settle" on. And we are so thankful we went to them. Aside from the new building, the staff is super great. Most importantly, our salesman Benny Soriano took his time and did everything he could to match up our demands/needs to what they could offer. He didn't show us just one or two vehicles, he was trying to put us in a vehicle we "deserved" and not one we would settle on. Benny presented so many options, not just a car they wanted us to buy, until we decided on the first vehicle he thought would be great for out family -- a 2012 Camry SE. It is beautiful inside and out with all the premium options a Toyota comes with. The year had me a bit concerned as the warranty would be up in a year but with only 19,000 miles we couldn't pass it up. So what did they do? They added a 6 year/72,000 mile warranty for our own peace of mind. Although negotiations got worrisome, Benny stood by our side and worked with us until we got close enough to the price range we were looking for instead of just saying "this is all we can do". I can not be any more thankful for the wonderful work the staff at Kuhn Honda did for us and how beautiful they had the Camry looking and more importantly, Benny who was more than just a regular salesman. If anyone goes to Kuhn Honda, I recommend asking for Benny. More
Awesome experience I'll start this review by saying that I have bought at least 12 new cars in my life. I have dealt with more than a few dealers. Some other Honda dealers in the Tampa area have been so horrible that I wouldn't send my worst enemy there for a referral. So, I decided last week that I wanted to trade my '14 Accord in for '16 Civic EXL. I shopped around. And then shopped around some more. I emailed all of the dealers in the Tampa/St.Pete area. I got my best prices, and financing options from all of them (my credit is fair, at best). But, the one thing was, all of the other dealers had $1200-1900 of (practically) useless dealer installed options and goodies on the cars. And then, I emailed Jerome from Kuhn Honda. He answered my emails promptly, and gave me a price that was considerably less than anywhere else that quoted me. Although they didn't have the color that I was looking for in an EXL, they did have a Civic Touring. For a bottom line that was almost $4000 LESS than one of their competitors !!!!!! For a car that stickers for $2000 MORE than the EXL. My trade was appraised at exactly $1000 over what Ocean Honda had offered, and $1500 over Wesley Chapel. So, I drove to Kuhn after work - the pricing seemed too good to be true, and, although Jerome was going to be leaving for the day soon, he promised that he would wait for me. So, now for the big surprise. Jerome treated me like a friend. His deal was exactly what he said it would be. They had me financed, and out the door in under 2 hours. He didn't waste my time. There was no BS. No games. No lies. No deception of any type. Lisa handled the financing, and there was NO pressure at all to purchase any accessories, warranties, etc. I felt that I was treated better during this transaction than I have ever been treated by any dealership in my 50 years of life. Thank you Kuhn Honda - I drove away happy, and feeling that I was treated honestly, and with respect. More

Service Review (Brakes) I took my 1997 CRV for $930 brake service. I've taken the car back three days in a row because my brakes continue to lock up. Not only is this dangerous for myself but other folks on the road. Kuhn Honda service claims they test drive the car every time. There's no way they have because they would notice the brakes completely lock after 5 miles of driving and stopping in Tampa. Either they're not checking the vehicle or they're incompetent, either way it's frustrating and disappointing. More
